Content: I rarely write a character needing a change unless it furthers the plot in some way. As such, it tends to be out of focus or from another character's perspective. Rarely from that of the character who has the accident.
The other thing is the character in question who does this is very young, like, almost two. Would they feel any sort of pressure? I'm not sure how much "pushing", if at all would be needed to get "it" out or the average density of the mess at that age.
