Content: I was sick for quite a while for at the time unknown reasons. I have had some urgency symptoms when needing to pee. My PCP gave me two medicines to help control that. At first they were working and that was probably about seven months ago. About two months ago I noticed that the effectiveness was diminishing rapidly. I called back and let my PCP know through the nursing system and I had no reply as I said earlier, I had been a bit sick and I had been found on the bathroom floor and taken to the hospital. At that point I was severely dehydrated, having pneumonia, some other infection, and a UTI that I had no idea about. After being admitted to the hospital for a little bit and give an IV fluids and started eating I had a wetting accident in the bed while sleeping. That was a bit embarrassing as that has never happened to me before in public. Later that day I had to go pee and left a dog gone trail from the bed to the toilet. I let the staff know and ask them if there was some additional medicines I could take. When I was trying to clean up my wet mess on the floor ( towel and feet I became instantly done going in the bed #2, I was sitting on the side) if it wasn’t for the temperature I wouldn’t have hardly noticed that it happened. Now the really bad part the nurse walked in. I really felt defeated at that point and apologized. A second nurse was called in and amazingly in less than 5 minutes all was corrected. They were extremely professional and kind to me. I can’t wait to go home. I’m worn out. What great hospital staff!
