Content: Here is an overview of a story I thought up yesterday. I got the idea after reading how COVID has caused incontinence in some people. I'd like to get some feedback on it's worthiness as a story. I think third person instead of first for sure. This is still in the idea stage, but if someone wants to take it and run with it please feel free.

I was one of the very few that still had some control over my bladder, but even-so still had to wear a diaper too. I will never forget the day when I was walking down the street in front of my house and saw a couple walking towards me, they were both obviously diapered. When they got close to me they patted my diaper in passing. I felt a sense of unity and acceptance I had never felt before. I realized that it didn't matter if you had control over your bladder or not, we were all in this together.

I still remember the day it all began. I had heard about the virus, engineered to be harmless, but it wasn't. It spread quickly, and everyone was affected in a way no one could have predicted.

At first, we didn't realize what was happening. People were laughing, joking about how everyone was wetting their pants. But soon enough it became clear that this was no laughing matter. The virus had disrupted the nerves to our bladders, and no one was able to control their bladder anymore.

It was a difficult time for everyone. We had to find ways to cope with the sudden lack of control over our bodies. We had to wear diapers, something few wanted to do, but we had no other choice.

The first few months were the hardest as we adjusted to wearing diapers, and to the stigma associated with them. But slowly, we began to make progress. We started to develop diapers that could easily last for 24 hours, and clothing that accommodated the bulky new diapers that we all wore.

We also adjusted to the new social norms that came with wearing diapers. Handshakes were becoming a thing of the past, people stood closer together now, patting each other's diaper became a sign of unity and acceptance. The social norm of potty training had been turned upside down too, it was becoming common for teens to poop in their diapers. Adults however were expected to have this under control. In most places there was usually the faint smell of a poopy diaper, but it wasn't offensive due to the fancy odor control in our diapers.

It's been a few years since the virus was released, and we are still dealing with the consequences. But I have to say, we have come a long way. We have made breakthroughs in diaper technology, and our social norms have adjusted to accommodate this new reality. With the addition of adult changing rooms everywhere, we have learned to accept and embrace each other and our new normal.
