I probably should have posted this one first.
This is the story of how Benita met Toriel and became a family.
There was a 14 - year old girl walking up the mountain of Mt. Ebott. Suddenly, she tripped on a root and fell down the deep hole leading to the underground.
“...”
“....”
“Augh....”
The girl hoisted herself up.
“Where am I?... How did I fall down here?”
She stood up.
“Hello? Is anyone there?”
“Hiya!”
The girl was startled.
“Aah!... oh… um, hi… Hold on a sec, you’re… A talking flower! I've seen monsters before, but how is that possible?!”
“Ah, don't worry about that!” The flower replied. “You must be pretty new here. Someone oughta show you how things work around here. By the way, my name’s Flowey! Flowey the flower! Down here is the underground!”
“I kinda figured…” The girl muttered.
“Around these parts, friendship is shared by little… Friendliness pellets! Catch one and you’ll be filled with friendly feelings!”
“Um… Okay?” The girl was a bit skeptical, but obliged.
“OW! Wha-”
“You idiot.” The flower growled. “You absolute moron. Down here, it’s kill or be killed. If you don’t kill, you don’t stand a chance.... DIE.” Flowey cackled as he prepared a barrage of pellets to hurl at her. Just before he had the chance to release them, A fireball came his way and knocked him out of sight.
“My, what a miserable creature, torturing such a poor, innocent youth.” She turned to the girl, who by this point was very frightened.
“P-please don’t hurt me!” The girl begged. “I don’t mean any harm! I tripped and fell down here! Honest!”
Toriel looked concerned. “My child, there is no need to be afraid. It is I, Toriel. I am the caretaker of the ruins. I do not wish to hurt you.”
Benita eased up a bit. “Are you sure?”
“I promise.” Toriel reassured, “Now… what is your name?”
“Benita… My name is Benita.” She replied.
“Ah, such a lovely name. Come. Take my hand and I will show you around the ruins. Toriel held out her hand. After a moment of thought, Benita took Toriel’s hand. It was soft and warm, and this comforted Benita.
…
Toriel showed Benita the ruins. She taught her how the puzzles worked, and the like.
“My child,” Toriel said once they reached a certain point in the ruins, “There is some business I must attend to. Please stay here. But before I leave, do you happen to have a cell phone?
“Yeah, I got one right here.” Benita took out her phone.
“Splendid! Why don't we exchange numbers in case you need to contact me for anything?” And that’s what they did. Afterwards, Toriel went off to do some shopping. Benita waited for about ten minutes, but then grew restless.
“I know Toriel told me to stay here… But where is she?” Benita thought. After some hesitation, she made her way through the ruins. Suddenly Benita got a call.
*ring, ring*
“Hello?”
“Hello, My dear. This is Toriel. For no reason in particular, which do you prefer? Cinnamon or butterscotch?”
“Uh… I’m a bit more partial to cinnamon, I think.”
“Ah… but you do not dislike butterscotch, do you? You would not, say, turn your nose up if it was on your plate?”
“No, I like butterscotch too.”
“Wonderful! That was all I wanted to ask. See you later!
*Click*
Benita then wandered through the rest of the ruins, After solving some puzzles, she found Toriel’s house, where Toriel was just outside. “Benita, how did you get here? Are you hurt?”
“I’m sorry, Toriel… I should’ve waited.”
“Do not apologize. It was my fault, I shouldn’t have left you for so long… Nevermind that, though… Come, small one!’ Benita followed Toriel into her house. “Welcome to your new home!” Toriel announced as they stepped inside. “Do you smell that? Surprise! I made butterscotch-cinnamon pie! I thought we’d celebrate your arrival. And there is another surprise too! Follow me. Toriel once again took Benita’s hand and led her to her room. “Here we are! A room of your own!” Toriel stroked Benita’s head. I think we are going to have a great life down here… Wait… Is something burning? Make yourself at home!” Toriel rushed off the the kitchen, leaving Benita alone to explore her room and collect her thoughts. So much was happening at once, and she didn’t know what to think of it all. Nevertheless, Benita opened the door, stepped inside and had a look. It was a nice, cozy room. “I could get used to this…” Benita thought. After a minute or two, she made her way into the kitchen, where Toriel was placing a slice of pie on the table. “There you are! Why don’t you sit down and we can have a nice chat?” They sat down, and Benita began to eat the pie.
“Wow… this is really good!” Benita said in between bites. Toriel smiled.
“I knew you would like it. Now, tell me. What was your life like before you fell down here?”
Benita paused. She had a sullen expression.
“Well… I don’t think my parents ever really treated me right. They usually got me what I needed, like food and clothes and stuff, but emotionally… they just weren’t there for me, and rarely showed much affection. They’d also yell at each other and at me a lot. In fact, I came to Mount Ebott for a while to escape them being mad… I always get envious when I see young kids with their parents. I get this feeling… Like I wish I had the childhood they did. That’s why meeting you was so comforting. You're like the loving mom I never had…" Benita began to tear up.
Toriel gently held Benita’s hands.
“My child… My sweet, dear child. That is why I brought you here. To love and protect you, and to care for you for as long as you need. It has been so long since a human has come by here… I hope you accept my kindness.” Benita’s eyes lit up.
“R-really? You mean it?...” Toriel brought Benita in for a hug. She threw her arms around Toriel and cried for a few minutes. Benita had never felt such joy… To be accepted into a kind, loving family… She felt as though she could sprout wings and fly. After the embrace, Benita looked up at Toriel. “There’s… also one more thing I’d like you to know about. Y’see, I’m a part of a community of age regressors. Basically, I like mentally regress as a child much younger than myself. In my case, I regress to a two year old. I do it to cope with having emotionally distant parents, and to relax. It has to do with what I told you earlier. While it’s not a replacement for it, regression helps simulate the childhood I never had. My parents never allowed it. So… What I’m asking you is… Will you care for me when I regress, and help me feel little?”
“My love, if that’s what makes you happy, I am more than willing to aid you.” Toriel said caringly.
“Really? Thank you so much! That means a lot to me…” “Benita started to shed a fresh set of tears. The two one again hugged, and Benita finished her pie.
…
Just as Toriel was about to take Benita’s plate, she noticed she looked a bit uncomfortable.
“Benita… Is everything alright?” She asked.
After a bit of hesitation, Benita stood up then lifted her t-shirt and tugged down the front of her shorts, just enough to reveal a soiled protective undergarment, all while sporting an expression of shame.
“Yeah, I’m incontinent, too… I hope you’re okay with that.”
“That is quite alright, dear. In fact, I think I have something on me that you can use.”
Benita was curious. Toriel opened her closet, and dug around. After a moment she found what she was looking for.
“Aha! I knew I had these somewhere!” Toriel pulled out a package of diapers. They were an ABDL brand. Benita’s eyes widened with excitement.
“Woah… I didn’t expect you to have those…”
“I acquired these some time ago, But I figured you could use them. Do you know how to change yourself, or do you want me to do it?
“Well… I know how to change myself, but…”
Toriel sported an understanding look.
“My child, if you want me to change you, I really would not mind. Especially if it helps you regress.”
“...Ok then.”
Toriel gathered supplies, then set them down. Finally, she spread out a large waterproof mat on the floor. “Alright, lay down, and I will clean you up.
And so Benita did. As Toriel was doing the job, Benita couldn’t help but think how strange this all was. “Man… I never would have imagined this. I fall down to some underground ruins, and the next thing I know, a goat mom takes me in and diapers me… It’s weird… But It’s a weird I can get used to.”
“Ok, all done!” Toriel said.
…
Soon, Benita was in bed, Being tucked in by Toriel.
“Goodnight, Benita. I will see you in the morning. Call me if you need anything, I will be right down the hall.”
“Goodnight… Mom.”
Toriel smiled.
…
“Up so soon?” Toriel greeted Benita the next day.
“I guess it is pretty early, huh…” Benita commented.
“Well, I just want you to know how glad I am to have someone down here with me again. I have so many books I want to share, and also a snail hunting spot. I have also prepared a curriculum for your education. This may come as a surprise to you, but I’ve always wanted to become a teacher… Actually, perhaps that is not too surprising. Still.” Toriel explained.”
“I’m glad to have you too, mom…” Benita said. “You took me in when you didn’t have too, and now I feel loved and safe. And it’s all thanks to you. I love you…”
“I love you too, Benita.”
And with that, Toriel and Benita started their life as a family.
