Content: Summer Vacation

Tiffany is heading into 7th grade where she is able to start competing at the high school level. She is one of the youngest 7th graders in her class still 11 years old until the end of September and one of the smallest. Tiffany had a really close group of friends that did everything that they could together either in the pool or outside of practice.

Summer break was half way over and that meant that the annual mother daughter trip to one of the girl’s cabins that was like a normal house is next weekend. After Monday’s swim practice the girls all went to Ashley’s house to discuss plans for the week at the cabin.

Friday after swim practice the Mom’s were waiting on us girls to load up to head to the cabin. We slung our swim bags into the cars and hopped in for a three hour car ride. Us girls fell asleep before leaving town which the two parents in the car appreciated the little quiet time before a week of crazy teen girls being girls. The other car was the other Moms. We were woken up once upon arrival and quickly settled in for the week.

Of course after sleeping most of the car ride we were not really tired. So we watched a Harry Potter but really didn’t watch much since we were gossiping about boys back home and who each other liked. Then we all fell asleep slowly one by one.

The next day we woke up and breakfast was about ready. The energy was high with knowing that the beginning of vacation has started. While eating breakfast each one of us bet that they would be the first one in the water.

Tiffany finished first and ran upstairs to change into her multi colored bikini. Running down stairs Tiffany’s mom stopped her to rub sunscreen on. Arguing that the sunscreen wouldn’t help since planning on jumping into the water right away. By the time Tiffany was good to go Ashley ran by to be the first one in the water.

While the girls were just floating around on floaties a few Moms went into town to do some grocery shopping. Towards the end of the shopping spree Brittany’s and Rachel’s Moms went to pick up some feminine products since there girls were starting their period towards the end of the trip.

Once the Moms were back Alex’s Mom decided to take us girls on the boat to cruise around while the other parents started supper and relaxed a little. Of course us girls were talking about how our first year as high school swimmers would be like and our goals. Also looking for cute boys around the lake.

Arriving back supper was about ready; so us girls started to shower and change into pajamas before supper. By the time we were all ready supper was ready. Having grilled chicken Caesar salad wraps, chips, and watermelon for supper was the first quiet moment since breakfast. We all decided to go to bed early since Alex’s Mom said we could take the boat out to water ski, wakeboard, and try wake surfing. All excited about tomorrows activities and the fresh air from the day went to sleep pretty quickly.

Content: Water Activities

Next morning we woke up to the smell of bacon which meant breakfast. We all changed into our swimsuits before breakfast and headed to the kitchen. We didn’t take much time to finish breakfast and wanted to go out. The parents were not in a rush and wanted to finish their coffee and have a quiet morning but were not receiving the quiet morning.

Alex’s Mom started to get the boat ready and told us only half of us are able to be in the boat at a time since there was eight of us. Tiffany was able to go the first time around with Alex who already knows how to do everything about water skiing, wakeboarding, and wake surfing. We all decided that we wanted to wake surf first. Alex’s Mom provided some tips on how to wake surf and prepared the boat. Alex was first since she has done it before. Of course after her run we all were pretty confident in our abilities since we are all strong swimmer girls that can do anything. The other two girls tried tirelessly but was able to stay up for a couple of minutes. Finally, Tiffany’s turn to try wake surfing. Tiffany caught on pretty quickly. Tiffany tried to show off since she was better than the other girls. While trying to show off she ended up quickly approaching the boat. The next moment Tiffany’s head met the side of the boat hard.

After Tiffany hit the boat she fell hard into the water. With instinct found herself to the surface. After in the boat Alex’s Mom asked if Tiffany was ok. Her answer didn’t make sense so they raced back to the cabin. While on the way to the cabin one of the girls called Tiffany’s Mom that she hit her head and should maybe take her in to the hospital. Tiffany’s Mom was worried and waiting at shore. Tiffany could hardly walk off the boat and into the car. Tiffany’s Mom helped her to the car and rushed to the hospital which was a twenty minute drive.

After six hours in the hospital they released Tiffany. She was deemed to have a pretty bad concussion with minor swelling of the brain. Once arriving back to the cabin the girls were all waiting for her anxiously. They were all surprised when she arrived in her nightie with a diaper clearly showing underneath. Tiffany still not herself was so excited to see everyone hugging everyone. Her Mom brought her up to bed with a package of diapers. Tiffany hasn’t held any liquids since the hospital.

The girls tried to have fun but was sweet enough to check up on Tiffany every couple of hours. Towards evening Tiffany finally accepting liquids and soft foods but still not with it. Tiffany’s Mom asked one of the other moms to go into town to purchase two more packs of diapers. The two moms trying to make light of the moment joked that they thought they were done purchasing diapers.

Mid-morning the next day Tiffany still groggy was back with the world. She walked down not even noticing that she was in a diaper. Sat down with the other girls. As she sat down the other girls started to whisper. Not even noticing the other girls; asked for a pancake. Parents were happy to see that Tiffany was out of bed with a little appetite. After her plate was full noticed that the chair was a little squishier than normal. With no filter asked aloud to the other girls if their seats were squishier than yesterday.

As the girls were answering all at once trying to explain what happened yesterday or that she was wearing a diaper. Instantly Tiffany’s Mom grabbed her to walk back to her room to explain everything. Tiffany didn’t remember hitting the boat or the hospital which was not a surprise for her mother. Then came the sensitive part that she was wearing a diaper. After standing up and pulling up the nightie, seeing a diaper. Then from down stairs heard, “A diaper really Mom!” The moms down stairs reminded the other girls that anyone of them could have had an accident like that and be in the same situation. So they pleaded that the girls shouldn’t make any comments.

Content: Cheering Tiffany Up

Soon after the commotion of Tiffany finding out that she was wearing a diaper from her mother Linda. The others decided to play outside for a little bit to provide some space for those two. While Tiffany sat inside embarrassed and ashamed of wearing a diaper. Mom tried to cheer her up with, that she is lucky she is not hurt worst. There was no comfort in those words. Standing up to remove herself from the same room has her Mom, felt a strong tug against her hips of the diaper attempting to fall to the ground. Embarrassed, stated that she didn’t even know she peed sobbing. Linda could only hug her and to lead her upstairs to be changed. After being placed in another diaper, laid on the bed sobbing. Linda went down stairs to see what the others were doing. Tiffany ended up crying herself to sleep.

Lunch time rolled around. Alex decided to check on Tiffany to see how she was holding up. Walking into the bedroom was surprised to see Tiffany in a tank top and a diaper knowing the situation. Alex gently tapped Tiffany on the shoulder to see if she cared for lunch. Tiffany groggily murmured sure. Standing up once again her diaper sagged and tugged on her small frame. Sitting instantly back down sobbing some more. Alex rounded up Linda to the bed room while informing her of the situation. Tiffany’s mother sat next to her on the bed stating that once back home will visit the doctor’s.

Alex hearing Tiffany weeping and Linda trying to comfort her decided to grab two diapers out of the package. Handing one diaper to Linda. Alex left for the bathroom. Then appeared again in the bedroom finding them in the same spot on the bed. Tiffany asked Alex why she was wearing a diaper. Only response was turning around saying that it makes her butt look bigger. Reluctantly laughing and crying at the same time. Alex stated that she would wear one too in order for Tiffany to eat.

Tiffany was changed into a fresh diaper and joined the other girls. Everyone was shocked when Tiffany and Alex were both wearing diapers. Still very shy of wearing a diaper, Tiffany sat down with little interaction through out lunch.

Alex asked the group if everyone wanted to play four on four volleyball? All but one agreed. Alex decided the teams. Once everyone was finished Amanda and Sarah followed Alex upstairs quick after informing Linda of the plan. All Tiffany’s mom could say is that the plan couldn’t hurt. Tiffany by herself facing Brittany, Abbey, Megan, and Ashley. A few moments later… Tiffany’s team showing up linked arms all wearing diapers. Tiffany’s face turned bright red with embarrassment but also happy to have great friends.

The parents sun tanning on the deck watching the girls having fun. Debby asking Linda what time it was? Linda responded almost two thirty. After stating the time said it again with joy in her voice. Looking over at the other moms and them looking back at Linda.

“You know this is the longest yet?”

Debby replied back, “Yup and they are all having fun!”

Alex’s Mom Liz went to bring out refreshments for the girls while Linda was now curious with the other girls wearing diapers how many were left.

The volley ball game had an intermission for refreshments. Abbey asked if there was a bonfire tonight? Alex was unsure if there was any s’more stuff to even have with a bonfire. They all decided to go ask at once. Tiffany felt a slighter tug then before knew that she needed to go change but first wanted to ask with the others about a bon fire. The parent’s all agreed that a bon fire would be fun but would need to run into town for fire wood.

Liz, Alex, Linda and Tiffany all decided to go purchase firewood for tonight. While Liz and Linda retrieved their purses, mentioned that she would need to stop at the pharmacy or store for more supplies.

Content: Bon Fire

Conveniently there was a pharmacy not to far from the nearest gas station. Liz dropped off Linda and Tiffany off at the pharmacy while they went to grab firewood. Alex asked why she couldn’t accompany them. All Liz said is, “we need to grab firewood.”

After they hopped out Liz turned around to Alex and stated that they are purchasing more diapers for Tiffany.

Alex replied that, “they should grab enough for the other girls.”

Liz pondered for a moment while heading to the gas station. The other girls have been kinda enjoying making Tiffany feel better about the situation. Once at the gas station Liz texted Linda to grab enough for Tiffany and the other girls. Will explain later.

Linda and Tiffany started down the adult aisle for diapers when receiving Liz’s text. Tiffany protested that these products are for old people and aren’t cute. Then perused the kid aisle. There is nothing here that will fit you. Tiffany glanced at the Goodnites and stated these will and they are much cuter! Linda gave in and grabbed two large boxes of Goodnites and started towards the counter. Why do we need two whole boxes when we only have a couple of days left. Tiffany’s mom turned around looking into her daughter’s eyes, we are not running back into town again for this.

Tiffany silently just walked right behind Mom. Reaching the counter there was a young college student who rang us up. Not wanting to look at him knowing who these Goodnites are for. Right as Liz pulled up Tiffany rushed into the vehicle like it was an escape vehicle from a crime scene. The car ride was semi silent besides Alex insisting on conversation.

Once back at the cabin the other six girls set up a tent that was large enough for all eight of us to sleep in. Mom grabbed the two boxes of Goodnites and placed them in the girls room. After supper we wanted to try to start the bon fire. Which was alright as long as one adult supervised.

Alex took charge and instructed each individual their task. Tiffany and Megan grab the firewood from the vehicle and the rest grab small stuff on the ground. Everyone took a turn until the bon fire was in flames.

Placing the chairs around the fire once again just jabbering away like girls do when Liz brought out the s’more stuff. Then took turns challenging each other to not start their marsh mellow on fire but who was able to have the most golden one.

Needing a change went inside the cabin, Linda followed. Reaching the bed room smelling like bon fire started to change into a Goodnite. Surprised the box was already opened and half of the pull-ups had disappeared. Linda suggested to just change into pajamas and join the crew. Still a little ashamed of the situation and confused why the box was opened with half of them missing.

While changing, the other girls already had their pajamas in the tent and also the other half of the Goodnites. The other parents laughed not in a mean way but in a supportive one. Stating how great their girls are being friends.

Once back at the fire everyone was still in place except the others have changed into their pajamas. Megan decided to run inside to grab more chips, candy, and pop back out. Not wanting to hear more embarrassing child hood stories from the parents, grabbed everything and went into the tent. Abbey turned the light on that hung from the tent revealing where the other half of the Goodnites went but most of them were missing. Once the light illuminated the tent the other girls had their Goodnites showing as well. Surprised we all started laughing. Linda hearing the laughter decided to call it a night, happy that her daughter was back.

Content: End of Vacation Nearing

The next morning the girls all awoke slowly one by one not wanting to crawl out of their sleeping bags. One by one checking their phones to see what the rest of the world was up to while they were having fun up north. Then the girls who were still asleep were awoken by the voices of the girls findings on social media and what they wanted to do for the day. About 9:30 Alex’s Mom decided to see who was up in order to start breakfast. The other moms were enjoying their coffee inside enjoying the peace and quiet before the day started.

Brittany and Rachel’s moms were wondering what was in store for them this morning since their girls were starting their period. Both of them were not excited to see what hormonal mess was in store since the two girls have only a few menstrual cycles.

Tiffany leading the charge of starting the day in a good mood into the house which Linda was pleased by the result. Also could see that the Goodnites sagging under her night shirt and was hoping for no laundry. Tiffany said good morning and walked past to hop in the shower first. All the Moms were pleased in the turn for the better in Tiffany’s emotional state. They were all hoping for the rest of the tent to be in the same good mood.

Brittany, Rachel, and Megan were the next ones to slowly crawl out of the tent not as well rested. Once they were in the house Brittany and Rachel’s mothers took their daughters off to the side to see how they were doing since this was all new to them. Rachel was uncomfortable with cramps but felt alright besides that. Brittany was agitated and did not want to talk. They both were in the girls room to change and then at the same time called back their Mom’s. Both rushed to the room found that the two girls ended up using the Goodnites not for wetting but pleased at the containment they held. Both were instructed to shower and prepare for the day. Rachel accustomed to both tampons and pads while Brittany comfortable with pads only.

Ashley and Alex started to crawl out of the tent when Alex felt a weird tug around her hips. Right before fully emerging from the tent door felt the very heavy wet Goodnite between her legs. While walking through the door Alex followed Ashley through the kitchen. Once upstairs sat on one of the beds trying to figure out her plan of action. Deciding to barge into the bathroom while Tiffany was finishing showering pulled the curtain slightly to see who barged in. Alex already had the Goodnite at her ankles by this point. Turning around to glance at Tiffany’s eyes locked in on her. Alex in a frantic hushed voice exclaimed that she didn’t know what to do. Tiffany was surprised but told her to through the Goodnite in the trash and she could use the shower next. Tiffany turned the shower off and started to dry herself off while Alex hopped into the shower.

Tiffany with a towel barely hanging on due to her small figure walked into the room. Ashley was dressed and put her Goodnite on her bag while Brittany and Rachel were using the other bathroom. Tiffany changed and ran downstairs for breakfast. As they sat down Abbey sheepishly walked into the house while the Goodnite was hugging her hips for dear life.
