Content: The following evening, Laurie was up in the apartment along with Jean who'd come by to help Laurie as she did up her hair, painted her face and nails and compared clothing in preparation for Laurie's night out with Darrin. Laurie sat along her bed in a towel and diaper as Jean sat on her knees behind her curling her hair.

Jean "Did you find out what happened to that girl from the coffee shop?"

Laurie "No not yet. I did find someone online who knew her and I asked whether they knew where she lived but I haven't gotten a reply back yet."

Jean "Oh. I got you one of my old purses. It's big enough to carry your diapers and anything else you need that way you don't have to tote around that diaper bag of yours."

Jean held up the purse and handed it to Laurie.

Laurie "Oh my god, thank you so much for that. I really need it."

Laurie immediately got up and put her phone, make up and wallet in the bag along with the baby powder and wet wipes she had on the dresser by her bed. She then slipped out of the towel and took up a long dress she had laying on the bed.

Jean "So you think Darrin's the guy who can help break this curse?"

Laurie "Yes. At least I hope so. The bottle said that only true love can end the suffering and since I love Darrin all I need is to have him love me back."

Jean "So the bottle told you this?"

Laurie "Yeah. I've also learned a lot of other things from the bottle like if I have too much of a fit then I'll be forced to suck on a pacifier till I'm calm. I can only drink through a bottle or sippy-cup unless I have permission from an adult who tells me otherwise, my bladder is now weaker than it was before, I'll wet myself whenever I'm too afraid or nervous, I can still wear normal clothes and I can also go swimming as long as I'm in a waterproof diaper."

Laurie slipped into the dress that flowed about her shins along with a pair of dangling earrings and a shiny watch as she looked herself over in the mirror. She suddenly got a buzz on her phone.

Laurie "It's Darrin! He's about 2 minutes away!"

Laurie brushed up her hair a bit.

Laurie "How do I look? Does it show that I have a diaper on underneath?"

Jean "Not really. You always did just have a slightly thick behind."

Laurie "Gee thanks. I got to go. I'll text you all about it when I get back."

Jean "Please do."

Laurie put on her heels, nabbed her purse and rushed out the front door.

Laurie "Be sure to lock the door for me when you leave!"

Laurie shouted has she took off down the hall.

Jean "Will do!"

Laurie jolted to the elevator and got in, fixing hair all the way down to the lobby. She then hurried out to the front curb where she discovered she'd still beaten Darrin by about a solid minute. Standing there anxiously, she passed much of the time tapping her foot while glancing at her watch every few seconds.

"Hey Laurie."

A voice snuck up from behind as Laurie sighed, stooped her shoulders and lowered her head down.

Laurie "What is it now Nathen?"

She turned and saw Nathen standing behind her in his short sleeved button down shirt and an old beaten up computer case he had slung around his shoulder.

Nathen "I was just heading out. That's a nice dress. Is that the same one you had back at prom?"

Laurie "No it isn't."

Nathen "Oh. Well - hey I was wondering about your site. I'd learn some web design back in school and was thinking maybe - -"

Laurie "No I don't need your help with anything. Just please stop asking to help me. I don't need you."

A car suddenly pulled up by the curb in front of her. Laurie, upon seeing Darrin through the window as he turned on one of the interior lights, opened the door and got in.

Nathen "Okay. Well have a great evening."

Laurie shut the door as she put her purse on the floor beneath her legs and the car took off.

Darrin "Great day so far?"

Laurie "Just lovely."

Darrin "Well let's see if we can keep it that way."

Darrin shot Laurie a smile, prompting her to grin back with a bit of blush to her cheeks.

. . .

The restaurant they attended was a small but relatively classy place. Laurie and Darrin took a table by the window as they sat across from each other, Laurie's purse placed right on the seat next to her. A waitress quickly attended them with a pair of menus, a glass of water for each and a basket of breadsticks.

Waitress "What would you two be having to drink?"

Darrin "A Coke would be fine."

Laurie "I'll just have water thank you."

Waitress "You know what you want to order yet?"

Darrin "Yeah actually. I'll have the chicken and rice please. With the soy sauce."

Laurie "I'll just have a large salad with the cooked salmon. That's all."

The waitress took their order and walked off, leaving the two alone with each other. After a while of casual glances and timid grins the ice between them finally broke.

Darrin "So online retail. What got you started in that?"

Laurie "Well I studied business and logistics in college as just a general major and after working a bunch of low wage salary positions and constantly being told what to do I started my own online store for fashion apparel, sporting goods, health products and other stuff I help to promote and sell for small scale local companies. Just nice to be my own boss I guess."

They fell silent for a moment.

Laurie "So you still work as a physical trainer at the fitness center?"

Darrin "Not any more, now I'm a manager. Now I let someone else do all the dirty work for me. Not that I didn't like helping people out it's just that after a while of toweling up sweat, massaging muscle pain and regulating dietary plans I was just in the mood for something a little less hands on."

Laurie "Gotcha."

Laurie went to take a sip of her water when she noticed her glass suddenly about to change form.

Laurie "Uh - would you mind if I drank my water out of this glass?"

Darrin "Uh, sure. What else would you drink it out of?"

The glass suddenly stopped its transformation and remained as is, causing Laurie to give a quiet sigh of relief.

Eventually their meals arrived as Darrin immediately dug into his chicken breast. As Laurie was about to lay a cloth napkin upon her lamp, her knife suddenly raised up in the air and began to cut into her salmon all on its own.

As Darrin looked up, Laurie quickly grabbed hold of her fork and the knife as it still continued to cut up the fish.

Darrin "The chicken here is great."

As Darrin looked down once more, Laurie's napkin leapt off her lamp and tried to fix itself around her neck to form a bib. She nabbed it off her neck and hid it away in her purse, giving Darrin a casual smile as he glanced back up.

The evening went on like this for some time as Laurie and Darrin ate their meals together and talked about how they came to meet, what all they're doing now and what their general likes and dislikes were.

Laurie "- - And that's why I'm not a fan of leather - well that and the killing of cows thing."

Darrin "Well I'm sorry that relationship didn't work out. Yeah I've had some strange ones myself, and real needy ones too."

Laurie "Ugh, I hate overly needy people. As if taking care of my life wasn't enough."

The two laughed and chuckled with each other as Darrin reached his hand out over the table and placed it on top of Laurie's hand. Laurie blushed as she sunk in her seat a little. She was hoping to reciprocate the gesture by leaning across the table for a kiss, but just as the idea hit her she suddenly felt a tense cramp deep within her loins. She suddenly jumped out of her chair in a clamor to get up.

Laure "Uh - pardon me, I have see the restroom real quick."

Laurie nabbed her purse and sped off toward the restrooms as quickly and inconspicuously as she could in heels.

Once in the lady's room, Laurie made a quick scan of the stalls before shutting and locking the door. By then much of the deed had already been done and all she could do now was to wait until she finished relieving herself into her diaper. As soon as she the moment was available, she lifted up the skirt of her long dress and changed out of the diaper, throwing it in the trash bin in the wall. She reached into her purse for her changing material only to notice a grave problem.

Laurie "Oh no."

She looked into the purse and realized she had forgotten to bring any clean diapers with her in her haste out the door. By now her legs really began to tremble and the perspiration could be felt along her brow and arm pits.

RIP

Suddenly the bottom line of her dress began to tear off from about the upper thighs. Laurie jumped up while looking down to see her dress tearing itself about until a long section of fabric had come detached and began neatly folding itself up.

WHOOSH

The lady's changing table suddenly folded out of the wall as Laurie herself was whisked up off the floor and onto the table where the remnants of her skirt pulled itself up over her naval and her legs were spread apart in the air. Her heart throbbed in her chest and her eyes widened as a wet wipe flew out of her purse and quickly wiped her down below with the bottle of baby powder appearing soon after to dump a coating of powder over her pelvis and buttocks. The torn section of dress had bundled itself up and morphed into a large diaper that swooped down beneath her raised behind and fixed itself softly into place.

Once the mysterious force had let loose of her, Laurie hopped off of the changing table, putting both her hands up against her forehead as she took a second to recollect herself and pulled down what remained of her skirt which now only reached down about and inch and a half below the diaper line. She took a moment to position herself in front of the mirror in order to fully assess the damage. The diaper was still relatively concealed underneath the shorten skirt.

A knock came banging at the door.

Woman "Is anyone in there!?"

Laurie quickly fixed up her hair, grabbed her purse and unlocked the door, opening it to find an older woman waiting outside in agitation.

Laurie "Sorry - there was an accident. Didn't want anyone to get hurt."

Laurie gave a disingenuous grin before heading back over to her table.

Darrin "What happened to your dress?"

Laurie "Oh it's one of the tear off kind. It was just easier to use the restroom like this."

Darrin "Please, no need to go into anymore detail."

Laurie "Trust me I won't."

Darrin "Say it's only a little after nine, I know a great hillside by the park near my neighborhood with a great view of the stars. Would you like to check it out with me?"

Laurie ". . . Sure. Definitely."

. . .

Later, Laurie found herself sitting next to Darrin, his arm placed behind her seat, as they sat close together in the back of his car looking up through the sun roof at the clear evening sky up above as they sat parked along a hill just far enough out of the main metropolitan area to see the night stars without any obstruction from the bright city lights.

Darrin "Beautiful right. I used to drive up here during my college days just to relax and have fun."

Laurie "Relax and have fun with who?"

Darrin "Just friends. No one close if that's what your thinking. I was always too busy with work and school to really worry about any of my relationships. I guess that's why they all failed."

The two sat quietly for a moment as they looked up to the sky. Darrin's arm suddenly draped over Laurie's should, inching her ever closer to him. Uncertain as to what to do next, Laurie awkwardly bit down on her lip as she thought a moment before strategically placing her hand along Darrin's leg. She glanced over to him to see how he'd react just as he turned and noticed her, their eyes meeting for some time as a sort of fire built up deep within Laurie's chest.

In a sudden burst of both courage and anxiousness, Laurie leaned over and kissed Darrin on the lips. A quick pause later and Darrin returned the favor, kissing her back back on the lips though this time without parting. As the fire raged out of control within, Laurie leapt out of her seat and onto Darrin's leg as she clasped his face with both hands and he placing his hands around the sides of her chest.

The diaper she had on underneath her skirt crinkled loudly as it pressed against Darrin's thigh as Laurie sat with one leg locked in between both of his. She peaked out of her eye to see if she was still concealed or whether he'd noticed anything. She was and he didn't. With all being clear she continued on with their open mouth kissing session for some time, the windows of the car starting to fog up around them. As their kissing began to feel more intense, Darrin slid his hands down along her sides from the pits of her arms down to her curved waist line.

As soon as he was down to her diapered hips though, Laurie broke away and gently pulled his hands off from around her, her breath heavy with excitement and fear.

Laurie "Sorry, I wasn't expecting to get that intense. My bad."

Darrin "It's alright."

Laurie "No it's not. I should be more restrained on a first date."

Laurie got off his knee and sat right back down next to him, nervously looking away while awkwardly trying to straighten out the diaper under the skirt after it had gotten slightly misaligned during their make-out.

Darrin "Well, it's late anyway. Need me to drive you home?"

Laurie "Sure."

. . .

Darrin drove Laurie back to the apartment in what was a calm, relaxing ride home. She thanked him again with a peck on the lips before parting ways and heading back up to her flat.

Once in her room, she kicked off her heels and plopped down across the bed where she laid quietly for a second before screeching out in a burst of uncontainable glee and excitement as she kicked her legs wildly up in the air. She got out her phone and texted Jean.

Laurie "Definitely could have been better, but an excellent evening none the less."

She put down her phone and headed over to her computer to check her DMs. See saw one from the person she'd reached out to earlier and read it.

"Angie still works her other job at the east end of town at a shop belonging to her grandmother."

The message included and address as well as Angie's own social media page which Laurie immediately looked into. She squinted her eyes upon seeing the picture of the girl who did this to her knowing now that it was definitely on.
