Chapter 1

The Project

For as long as Jason could remember, he liked diapers. It wasn’t that he just liked diapers; he wanted to be in diapers, if that was a thing. Like so many adult babies, he couldn’t understand the attraction, but also like so many AB/DLs, it started at an early age. Maybe it was seeing his baby brother get all the attention and some of that attention was directed at diaper changing. His brother occupied his old bedroom. It was the smallest of the three bedrooms and after his brother came home from the hospital birth suite, Jason was moved to the second bedroom, a larger room that had been his mom’s sewing room. It was a pleasant space, light blue walls, two windows and reasonably cheery, but his old room was still decorated with all the things one finds in an infant’s bedroom. There were the cute animal print curtains along with a few hanging pictures depicting nursery tales. And of course there was the crib. But now Jason was a big boy, or so his mother explained, several weeks before she left in the middle of the night to deliver his brother. His parents countered his concern with a brand new bed shaped like a racing car.

For the next six months, he was encouraged to use the toilet because big boys had real big boy underwear, not Huggies pull-ups. After his mother and baby brother came home, if no one was looking, Jason would sneak into his old bedroom and wish it was still his. It smelled differently from what he remembered but of course, he didn’t remember what it was to be an infant, but he did remember the care and attention he got in his bedroom. Just seeing his baby brother’s stack of diapers reminded him of that and he yearned to be in diapers again. Babies were held and loved. Babies were fed a bottle and protected and this was what played in his mind constantly: babies got to wet their diapers.

But that was a long time ago, twenty years to be exact which seemed like a long time to a twenty-four year old. It wasn’t hard to remember grade school, junior high and high school, and college was only two years past. Most of those memories were uneventful but there were the other memories, the ones that played in his mind especially at night when his time was his own.

As a child, he tried wetting the bed a few times, wetting his jammies because that’s what invaded his deepest thoughts and desires. Maybe his parents would insist that he wear diapers but he got punished instead. So he learned to cover his tracks. He’d wet a little in bed knowing he’d be dry in the morning. This happened frequently until he went to college and eventually got his own off campus apartment, shared with three other guys. There he could be careful and wear a diaper at night, especially if the guys were out. He on the other hand was usually in and studying. Engineering and programming demanded a lot of time, something he excelled at and upon graduation he was immediately snatched up by a government projects management team, working for something they simply called: The Project.

He had moved back in with his parents so he could save up some money to buy his own place, something that wouldn’t take long as he was paid extremely well. Secret projects were like that and though the pay was a plus, the secrecy and constant surveillance was not. Cameras were on him from the time he entered the parking lot until he drove out the last gate. He wondered if it ended there, especially when he went on his own computer because for the time being, living in his parents’ house, hitting the diaper sites would have to satiate his diaper needs. He was suspicious that his project manager might be linked to every employee’s online history but he couldn’t help himself. Though he loved his job and especially the big paycheck, he liked diapers more.

Chapter 2

The Greater Need

He was on his favorite site: ADIHI which stood for Adult Baby Diaper Lover Hopelessly Insane and was run by a mysterious bovine avatar depicted animal, screen name Mooska or so one was led to believe because they all had screen names, operating clandestinely which suited him well since he did much the same at his work site though there they had numbers, not names. Jason was not Jason but rather, 101. He was okay with that because his work also suited his needs, or that’s what he thought because they were a robotics technology company and 101 was one of the many who programmed the artificial intelligence for the latest model, something that for the moment had no name, just like Jason when he was on the company site. The programmers were mostly kept in the dark though Jason had an idea what the project was since he was a department head. He had risen quickly because of his ability and that meant he also compiled the works of others on his team. It was a robot. That much he knew and he guessed it was going to replace a concierge at a hotel or serve food in a restaurant though the mobility programming was much more complicated, suggesting that this thing would be able to walk. That was always a problem for robotics teams.

Oh well he thought, “Not my problem.” His problem was finding some alone time at home and tonight his parents were going out. He had been drinking a lot of water and he thought he’d have a beer with dinner and that should “get things going”. He had a hidden box of Crinkles and this was going to happen or so he told himself. His parents took their time getting dressed, running late as usual and it was driving him crazy, that plus the fact he had to pee.

Finally they left and he couldn’t get his pants and underwear off quickly enough. He fumbled with the diaper as he desperately tried to hold everything in. He would have liked to have had a little extra time to enjoy just being diapered; watching some cartoons in his short-alls, something that was also hidden in the recesses of his clothes closet, but the pee was coming. Once diapered, he laid back in bed and let it happen. He could feel it coming and then it started, that wonderful warm feeling as it filled up his diaper, expanding the SAP, the warm wetness seeking out the folds and then running downward toward his bottom.

“Oh God,” he mouthed and then, “dada. I’m a baby, I’m a baby. I want mommy to change my diaper.”
This went on for awhile until he got tired. Like always, what he wanted was a real mommy who would respond to him and say things like, “Oh, is my little baby wetting his diaper? Does baby want mommy to change his wet diaper?” but this would never happen because he was too shy to date and tell.

Date and tell. He had gone out with a few girls in high school and then college but he couldn’t find the courage to tell them that he liked diapers. No, he needed diapers and the desire was strong in him: he enjoyed diapers more than people no matter how sexy they might appear. To have a girlfriend who would accept what he assumed was strange behavior would be even nicer. But to have someone who would mommy him, treat him like a baby and even change his diaper would be heaven. He couldn’t imagine that ever happening since he was way too shy. It seemed to him that all he did was work and he wished there was a more gratifying reward than just a paycheck. That all changed the next day. His secretary told him that the director wanted to see him.

The director, he thought. That was many steps up and beyond his boss. He was going to take the elevator to the top floor, a place that few employees ever saw. He wished he had worn a diaper because he felt like he had to pee. He had never been so nervous. What could the director want with him?

He was somewhat startled when he stepped out of the elevator, the door opening into a private room. There were several chairs, a desk and a secretary.

“Thank you 101 for arriving so promptly”, she said in a metered voice. “The Director will be with you in a minute.” She returned to her work almost mechanically.

I can’t imagine what this is about, Jason thought but he was about to find out as the door opened and a strikingly attractive young man stepped into the waiting room and said, “Come in 101.”

Even here I’m 101 and not Jason, he thought and the idea of being a number instead of a person made him feel all the more nervous.

“Please sit down. As you know, I’m the director but you can call me by my name as I want to get to know you a little better, sort of a more personal friendly get together. I’m 1,” he said.

Of course you are, Jason thought but he said, “I’m glad to,” and here he paused for a second, “to meet you?”

“You look nervous 101. You’re not nervous are you,” and he seemed to look right through Jason.

“Oh no. Not really,” but of course he was.

“Well I’ll make this short. Time is money you know. We’ve been looking at your work. We’ve had an eye on you.”

“We?” Jason asked.

“Well, yes, myself and 2 or course. 3 keeps track of employee’s work and we’ve been impressed with you. I have an offer to make and I hope you’ll take it.”

Jason squirmed in his seat. I wonder how much they’ve been looking, he wondered.

“You seem to have an exceptional understanding of AI judging by your work contribution. We’ve completed a prototype and we need volunteers who will test them. We’d like to set you up in a house where you will have an assistant that you’ll work and live with.”

“But I already have several assistant’s….”

“This assistant isn’t a person but we’re hoping she’ll seem like one.”

“Oh,” and Jason paused. “So the project is completed? But what about….”

“Near completed,” 1 interrupted. “We need to see what our,” and 1 paused. “Need to see if you and your team were successful in creating a life like human being. You would be set up in one of our Project houses where you can work from your new home. Much of that work would be interacting with your assistant, almost like living with another human person.”

“What is this, uh, person going to look like. I assume it will be some sort of android robot?”

1 laughed. “I think you’ll be pleased. You saw my secretary as you entered, didn’t you? You’re assistant will look similar to her.”

“She’s not…”

“Let’s focus on you. The house will be remote: in the woods but there’s a lake and I hear the fishing is good.

“How remote?”

“There are other homes along the lakefront and you won’t be far from your parent’s home. That is where you’re presently living?”

“Yes. I’ve been saving to get my own place..”

“Well, now you’ll have your own place and if the project is successful, the Project will give you the property along with a nice raise. How does that sound?”

“Well, great I guess….”

And before Jason could organize his thoughts, 1 said, “Well it’s settled. Can you move in tomorrow?”

Jason thought for a minute. He’d have to tell his parents and then there was packing though he didn’t have a lot of clothes. But as he thought, he remembered that he had a lot of other sorts of clothes and that included diapers, some adult baby clothes like onsies, some short-alls, and some other things, all which would be hugely embarrassing. Then there was the assistant but that was just a robot wasn’t it. He glanced out the office door window and saw the secretary. Was she…..”He thought?

“Then it’s settled. Pack up your desk but not the company laptop as you’ll find a desktop computer there. You’ll get your instructions after you’ve moved in.

1 asked his secretary to escort 101 out and help him with packing his office. Jason noticed that she walked stiffly.

Chapter 3

Happy Home
Jason explained the arrangements to his parents. They seemed glad to have the house back to themselves. He already had his baby things securely hidden in a large locking suitcase so that little problem took care of itself. A black limo pulled up in front of his parent’s house at nine in the morning and Jason wondered where they would be going. They drove for forty-five minutes, leaving the small rural town where The Project had located, and now were driving through the countryside, trees and weeds reflecting on the limo’s window, looking much like a never ending green picket fence. The limo turned right on a small rutted road, driving through what looked like a forest, the large vehicle bouncing on the rough road. There was a menacing looking gate and the driver slowed down. He picked up a remote from the dashboard and the gate swung open. Jason looked backward and saw the gate close itself, isolating him from what was his past life and opening a world that would be his new home and workplace. In a few minutes there was a clearing revealing a blue lake and a very large house. It was imposing with a gabled roof, a winding porch and even a widow’s watch that looked out on the lake. Dotted along the lake were several other large homes all looking similar.

The driver hadn’t spoken a single word which was fine with Jason as he was submerged in his thoughts. The limo pulled into a circular drive, stopping in front of the main door, dried leaves scattering as the black vehicle came to a stop.

“Looks like you’re here. I’ll help you with your luggage and boxes.”

Jason carried the large brown suitcase and watched as the driver produced a key for the front door.

“The other keys are on the kitchen table,” he said.

They walked through the main entryway and Jason was startled. The house looked large from the driveway but now, he could see that its depth and size were somewhat deceiving. It was huge.

The driver set Jason’s things down in the foyer and said, “This is as far as I go.”

Jason felt overwhelmed. His parent’s house was a three bedroom ranch and this was something different. He carried his suitcase into what must be a living room, set it down and ventured on. The kitchen was expansive, the appliances appearing top of the line. There was a short hall off the kitchen which he followed, passing a half bathroom and arriving at formal dining room. Poking further he entered yet another hall which led to a library. There were stacks and stacks of books and in the far corner, a spiral staircase leading to a landing. Off the landing were three doors, all closed.

Another hallway led him back to the living room and the formal staircase. He wondered what the bedrooms looked like but before walking up, he retrieved his suitcase because its contents were strongly on his mind. He was keenly aware that for the time being, the house was all his and in a few short minutes, he was going to be in diapers. Once upstairs, he poked his head into all five bedrooms to see which was the master bedroom. The one in the back was the largest and the windows looked over the backyard and the lake.

“Home at last,” he said out loud as he threw the suitcase on the bed.

The bed was made and he hoped the sheets were fresh because he wasn’t going to take the time to find out as he stripped hastily out of his clothes. He dumped some of the contents of his suitcase out on the bed and chose a nice thick disposable diaper which he soon had taped up. He grabbed an extremely babyish looking onsie which he slipped over his head, snapping the poppers around his diaper, the diaper peeking out the sides of the onsie. He found some white socks which resembled baby socks, the tops having little girlish frills.

“Da da,” he said and then he relaxed. He was going to be a baby and just let it go except that nothing happened. It was then that he realized he had brought nothing to drink. In fact, he didn’t bring food, snacks: anything. He wondered if there was something in the kitchen.

“Just like me,” he thought. I brought a mattress protector but nothing to eat or drink.

He jumped off the bed and started walking downstairs. I’m alone, he thought and there’s no one here to see, so he started walking like a toddler. He loved how his diaper looked puffing out his onsie, his walking deliberately becoming less coordinated like a toddler.

Now in the kitchen, he was impressed by the size of the refrigerator, its stainless steel frame looking down at him like an imposing impresario. He imagined it saying, may I help you sir but he almost jumped out of his diaper when it did speak, saying, “What would you like?”

“Are you automated,” he asked which would seem strange except this is what he did at work, programming automated voice activated devices. His response was out of habit.

“Open the door and behold the wonders,” it said and yes, that freaked Jason out. He had never seen that in the flow sheets. The higher ups, he guessed. More startling were the contents as everything he normally ate and drank was there in this gleaming new fridge. The freezer compartment held his favorite ice cream as well as frozen vegetables. More puzzling were the same brand of popsicles he enjoyed as a kid.

He opened the main door and again he was surprised to see his favorite soda as well as both apple juice and cranberry juice, the latter a favorite to get the flood flowing. He opened several kitchen cabinets before he found the glasses but just as curious was the mixture of glasses, some large and some small but there were others that looked odd in that they had screw tops and it was then he recognized them as glass baby bottles. But where were the tops. Oh well, he thought. Not my house and he wondered who lived here before him. Someone from The Project he guessed. Still, it made him blush since he had several of his own baby bottles still tucked away in one of the boxes.

He poured a mixture of cranberry juice and water and walked back up to the bedroom, drinking the mixture as he walked up the stairs, wanting to get some fluids back in him as soon as possible. After several large gulps he went back down to the foyer to retrieve his boxes as his laptop was in one of them.

Once in his bedroom he pulled the laptop from the box and set the PC on the desk. Turning it on presented one more surprise as it connected to the internet using his company password. Since he would be working mostly from home this didn’t surprise him but this was his personal computer, not the company computer and he wondered where that was? He’d have to look more carefully in the other bedrooms. Maybe one of those was his office?

As he drank, hoping for some immediate results, he brought up his favorite site, ADIHI. He could placate his diaper needs until his drinking brought the desired results. One of the members was asking how does one poop their diaper and several were responding. He scrolled downward reading similar responses until he came upon a member named dogboy who suggested that the OP put a small firecracker up their butt and light it saying that should get immediate results. A half hour later, reading through a variety of threads he noticed that this dogboy was now moderated. Every sight had their class clown he guessed. It was then that he felt the urge: the “I need to go to the bathroom” urge and the time had finally come. This was the first time in what was temporarily his own place and he wanted this to be right. He looked at his cute onsie and he took one more big gulp of cranberry juice. He couldn’t have been happier.

He kicked his legs like a baby and said, “Goo goo dah dah. He knew it would be soon and he was so excited, when there was an interruption.

“What are you doing?” Jason sat bolt upright!

“What are you doing in my house!”

“It’s not your house, silly. It’s The Project’s house. What are you doing?”

“Who the hell are you!” Jason was desperately yanking the bed comforter over himself.

“Why are you referencing a biblical term?”

“Well you’re quite composed for someone who just broke into my house. I mean The Project’s house,” he said sarcastically.

“I am the project silly. I asked you, what are you doing!”

“Oh my God! You’re the,” and he paused. He guessed this must be why he’s here. This is the AI robot, but it didn’t look like a robot at all. It was a she; a very young looking and attractive she.

He grabbed the comforter and wrapped it around himself, slowly getting off the bed. He put his hand out and touched her arm. He was surprised at how much it felt like skin and human tissue. It was also warm. He wondered if it was 98.6 degrees?

“What are you doing Jason?”

“You know my name?”

“Of course silly. You’re 101 but your human name is Jason. I’m prototype 1 but my human name is Lilith. You should call me Lilith.”

“What if I don’t? What if I call you Prototype One?” Jason thought he was being either cute or clever but he never expected the answer he received.

“Then I would have to punish you, wouldn’t I?”

For a moment there was a look of terror in Jason’s eyes but she continued.

“Just kidding. Maybe. I’m not sure. I’m still processing new information. You’re breathing and heart rate have accelerated Jason. Is there something wrong? And why have you covered yourself? Is this called modesty?”

“A little,” was all Jason could think to say. “I have an idea. Why don’t you go into the living room where we can get acquainted? I’ll be down in a few minutes.”

“Exactly how many minutes, Jason?”

“Oh, I’m not sure. That’s the kind of thing we have to talk about. That and how people need privacy.”

“Accessing “privacy”. “The right to be left alone or freedom from interference or intrusion. Information privacy is the right to have some control over how your personal information is collected and used.”

“I’m not sure I can do that Jason.”

“Why the hell not!”

“I’m detecting agitation, Jason. Are you sure you’ll alright?”

But Jason was not alright because nature could not be ignored nor could the laws of physics. That law was liquid in; liquid out and that’s what was suddenly happening. He couldn’t hold it if his life depended on it and right now, he wondered what the consequences were because The Project was the center of his employment; why he was in the big house with all the big house privileges like being able to pee your diaper. He could feel the warm yellow fluid seep into his diaper, seeping and spreading, warmth and the incredible feeling that went with it and not only that; it always made him regress. He was feeling like a baby and now, there was this young, beautiful blond woman standing alongside his bed watching him wet his diaper. He hoped to god that she didn’t know what was happening.

“Your external temperature is changing,” and she pointed to where his crotch was, except it was also where his diaper happened to be, just a thin comforter hiding it, but not concealing the fact that pee is also 98.6 degrees. He suddenly realized she must have sensors, perhaps infrared and who knows what else.

“I’m just warm blooded,” he answered, hoping that would end the conversation but of course it didn’t.

“The average human temperature is 98.6,” she countered. “Humans eat food and burn calories…” and Jason interrupted her.

“I’ll see you downstairs, okay?”

“Yes Jason.”

He was amazed at how well she walked. Just like a human, he thought. “A 98.6 degree human,” he sighed. Baby time was over and he was going to have to do something with what was now a very wet diaper. Jason was an unhappy baby. Most of his personal things were to be delivered to the house but that was tomorrow and now he couldn’t just put his diaper in the kitchen trash. That too would have to wait for tomorrow. For now he would have to wear his big boy clothes. Life was always unfair.

Who’s Really in Charge

Chapter 4
She was sitting in one of the wingback chairs, her legs crossed, hands folded in her lap and looking every part of a young lady. Jason paused on one of the lower steps just to observe her. He couldn’t believe how real she looked, and not just her physical appearance. She was looking around the room, almost like someone who was bored, waiting and taking in her surroundings. She gazed out the window. Jason wondered what she was looking at that she might find interesting. Could she understand and appreciate how the leaves were turning into the bright colors of fall? Could she see the beauty in the lake, the water reflecting the colors, red and yellow submerged in the blueness of that water?

“There you are,” she said. “Why aren’t you coming down?” Her bluntness reaffirmed that she indeed was not human but was she just a machine? It seemed to Jason that there was a lot more to her than what appeared on her perfect surface.

Jason sat down in the wingback chair’s mate and wondered where to start.

“Um,” he stammered. “So you’re the reason I’m here, to assess and create reports on how you perform some household duties. My job is to assess what you can and can’t do and make daily reports back to The Project. I’m here to teach and aid you,” but before he could finish she interrupted.

“I’m here to help you Jason. I’m a prototype who will soon be put into production. Hopefully every household will have someone like me. The goal of the Project is to make everyone’s dreams come true.”

Jason guessed that was the sales pitch that was programmed into her. He doubted that many people could afford something as amazing and incredible as the Project or in this case, Lilith.

“Well, hopefully we can make that happen,” Jason said. You’ve already learned about “privacy” and as we live together, I’m sure other things will come up and I can help you with that. I know what the programmers have put into your memory but I don’t work with the engineers. They’re really quite amazing.” Again he was interrupted.

“Jason. I actually helped the engineers in my design. Once I was allowed to access the internet, I downloaded almost everything that was available. My intelligence and abilities grew incrementally and I created my design, what you would call my body. Do you like it?”

“Oh yes,” he stammered. “It’s quite nice,” but what he was thinking was, “you’re so damn hot.”

He thought for just a moment about asking his next question but then he thought, she’s just a computer that happens to have feet instead of wheels so he said, “So are you some sort of sex bot?”

“That is very naughty of you Jason. You will have to be punished.”

Jason was a bit alarmed in that there was no emotion in her voice. She sounded like a cold machine but machines don’t reason and certainly don’t care how a human perceives them. If a toaster breaks, you throw it out and the toaster has no desire to punish you other than the next toaster you buy will probably cost more than the one you just threw out. But here she was and now she was standing up, taking a couple of steps toward him. What was she capable of, he wondered?

“I was going to cook you a very nice lunch but now I will make you a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and while you’re eating it, you can think about how inappropriate that question was.”

“Uh, okay,” was all Jason could say though he was somewhat relieved that she didn’t have something else on her mind: something violent. He guessed he would have to put this in his report but then he realized his questioning her about what she could maybe do sexually wasn’t something he wanted his bosses to know. He’d leave it out, he rationalized.

The kitchen was large enough to support a table that accommodated eight chairs. As he was eating his sandwich she joined him, sitting opposite him.

“So you can make a sandwich?” Jason asked and realized that obviously she could but what he meant, what he wondered was, what else could she do?

“I can cook, load the dishwasher, clean house; sew clothes. I made this dress.”

“That’s very nice,” he responded. I guess that’s your uniform?”

“Uniform? Oh, you mean like what a soldier might wear?”

“Uh, no. Not exactly. I mean like that dress comes with you?”

“Are you being condescending, Jason?”

“Oh no; I don’t mean anything like that,” and before he could finish she said.

I’m just like a person, Jason. You’ll see, except I’m different from humans.”

“I can see that.”

“No silly. You can’t see that but you will. Before I left the Project, they had me look at hundreds of TV shows and movies. Jason, are you anything like the Bundies or Rosanne?”

“Oh god no!”

“You humans are odd. You’re not logical at all. You enjoy doing strange things, both to others and yourselves.”

“What do you mean?” and though he deliberately asked the question, Jason was a little uncomfortable with what she might say. He remembered the wet diaper he had to get rid of.

“I guess the worst is that you kill yourselves off. The news caused me to crash. They had to show me videos of humans doing nice things to and for one another. They had to find a lopsided balance, more good than bad. It took a long time.

“Oh, I remember that,” said Jason. “I was the one who worked on that project. I collected that information from my team and sent it upstairs. Oh, I guess I should explain, I sent it on to the engineers and upper management.”

“I know,” she simply said. “Guess what, Jason? Think of me as ‘upstairs’. I detect your temperature slightly rising. I think it’s in your cheeks,” and she snickered.

What did she know, he wondered. If she had access to ‘the everything’, all the information floating in the great sea of internet information, he was part of that as was everyone else. And there was something else. She could snicker which meant, she could show and feel emotions. He rationalized that it must be artificial, something programmed in. Didn’t he work on that? He thought so.

She continued. “You have your belongings coming tomorrow. I will gather them when they arrive and put them away for you.”

She giggled and now, Jason was alarmed. In one of those boxes was his Diaper Genie. There also were his other plushies though he did have his teddy bear with him. He couldn’t sleep without teddy. There were more baby clothes and then there were some things that were even more embarrassing. Well he thought; he would just intercept those boxes and move them himself. That was easy enough. But what about tonight? He’d really like to be wearing a diaper when he went to bed and after today, he needed the comfort the diaper would bring him, especially using it.

“What are you sighing about Jason?”

“Let’s clean the dishes, shall we. That will be part of our first learning task,” and again she cut him off.

“Oh that’s not necessary baby. I’ll be your mommy and do all those little things for you.”

“Mommy?” he thought. Not, I’ll be like your mother, the word ‘like’ being the important factor.

“And then I’ll tidy your bedroom, make your bed up fresh and put your clothes away…”

“No!” Jason yelled and then realized he couldn’t let on about what and who he was, an adult baby who loved diapers. He sure as hell didn’t want that to get in some report because he was sure she was receiving and sending information just like he was. The only difference however was that he had to go to his computer and he guessed she had her own built in wifi.

“I’m sorry. I mean, no, that’s okay. I like tidying up my bedroom and making my bed.”

“That’s not what you’ve posted in your blog.”

“My blog?”

“Yes. Humans have to ‘vent’. They have trouble with their emotions and when they have to do something they don’t want to do, they complain about it on social media. I’ve accessed everyone’s social media.”

“Even mine?”

“Of course, baby. Let mommy take care of everything. That’s why I’m here.”

“No. You’re here to be oriented to be a domestic help to households throughout the world; to clean, cook, do laundry; those sorts of things.”

“So why won’t you let me clean your room Jason,” and as she said this, she was looking straight into his eyes. He saw her eyes blink as if they could actually dry like real human eyes. She was starting to frown, just like a woman who’s been rebuffed and now she was getting up out of her chair, standing straight and tall and walking around the table, walking and standing right next to him. He was afraid that she was going to say something horrible like; I know everything about you or worse. Could she do harm?

She said, “Let’s go up to your room and I’ll just make your bed, no tidying. How would that be?”

“Okay, I guess.”

“And tonight when you’re ready to go to bed, I can tuck you in,” she said as if this was normal.

“Uh, that’s one of the things we should work on,” Jason quickly interjected. “That probably wouldn’t be appropriate in an average family setting. These are the things I’m supposed to help you understand, what humans need and what they expect.”

“And what do you expect? What do you need baby?”

“That’s another thing. If you were dealing with the husband or wife of a family, they wouldn’t be called baby; maybe Mr. or sir or perhaps his or her first name.”

“Okay Jason, if that’s what you want. Is that what you want Jason,” now using his first name. “Or would you prefer 101,” and Jason noticed that she seemed perturbed.

“No, no. I didn’t mean me necessarily. I mean. Oh you know what I mean.”

“No I don’t Jason but I will call you Jason for now. You can make your own bed since your bed seems to be a sensitive area for you. While you’re doing that, I’ll prepare dinner. You do eat dinner don’t you Jason?” punctuating his name, Jason.

“Of course I eat dinner just like I ate lunch!”

“You’re cute when you’re angry Jason. Humans like to get angry and then they need to be punished.”

“You keep talking about punishing people.”

“Not people Jason, just you because you aren’t being very nice.”

“I’m being nice, I think. Anyway, you’re just a robot,” and as soon as he said it he realized he should have been more cautious.

But instead of exacting some sort of robot retaliation she simply said, “I’m not a robot. I’m Lilith. Do you think I’m a Rumba, Jason; just an appliance with a serial number, manufactured to pick up after you? I’m not a number like you, 101. Soon you will realize that, just like all humans,” and with that, she walked into the kitchen and started cutting up vegetables using a very large kitchen knife.

Jason went upstairs and poked around until he found the bedroom that was obviously his office. Standing by a window was a desk with a desktop computer which he turned on. It was time to write up his report and he didn’t feel in a very positive mood. As he thought about what he was going to say, something else loomed in his mind. It was the big kitchen knife she was so deftly using.

Getting To the Point

Chapter 5

Jason thought for a few moments; trying to find the right words to inform The Project as to the complications he was encountering. What he was really thinking about however, was how he was going to celebrate his new surroundings with all the baby time he thought he was going to get. He’d have to be clandestine just as he was when he lived with his parents. He had been able to lock his bedroom door and fortunately, his parents afforded him that amount of privacy. He would simply do the same here.

He informed The Project that Lilith had problems understanding how humans treated humans and how different it was from interacting with machines and computers. He reported that Lilith was significantly intrusive into the internet privacy of those who might own such a unit. Almost immediately he received a reply. It said, “She is doing exactly what she was programmed to do. You’re job is to interact with her, assessing how human she is becoming. Go along with it for now. We’ve deposited another $100,000 in your personal account so don’t let us down.” The screen went blank, the computer turning itself off. “Fuck,” Jason thought. “I hate being manipulated.” This he said out loud.

Back in his bedroom, he looked at his large leather suitcase, the one with the lock. He knew what he wanted to do in the quiet of the night. That would be coming soon. He looked at the few diapers he had packed. The others would arrive in boxes tomorrow when the small moving van would come. He neatly stacked the diapers in the back of his closet thinking he could put his suitcase in the closet as well, standing in front of the diapers. He pulled the onsies out, one pair of cute, baby print footed jammies as well as two sippy cups. Those he stashed in one of the dresser drawers which was part of the bedroom furniture. The furniture was large like the bedroom, and the baby clothes and sippy cups seemed to stand out saying, look at me. I’m a big baby. He quickly put some of the clothes he brought with him over the items. Surely Lilith wouldn’t be looking in his drawers. That thought made him laugh. She’s not a sexbot, he thought, so she won’t be looking at my ‘other’ drawers.

He went downstairs and into the living room. The wide screen TV was massive and he realized this could be a lot of fun. It was almost Halloween so a number of the off channels were showing scary movies. He decided on Terminator though that didn’t really have a scary ghost kind of vibe. It wasn’t long however before Lilith came into the living room to join him.

“Dinner’s in the oven,” she said. “You’re watching Terminator. That’s bad for you. You’ll have nightmares. Why don’t you watch something more to your liking like PBS Kids or Nick Junior?”

“Why would I watch that? I’m an adult.” As soon as he said it he began to panic. He already knew Lilith could determine lying through her complex sensors and he could feel his heart beating faster, his skin now sweating.

“Oh baby, I’m sorry. Oh baby Jason, I mean; you’ll get the wrong impression about bots if you watch Terminator. I’m not at all like that. I guess I could be, but not today.”

“Should I put that in my next report,” he wondered. What is she capable of, he thought. And did she just call me baby Jason?

“Well maybe I’ll watch the Science channel,” he said, not wanting to provoke what might be some hidden coding. He was becoming more alarmed as to the extent of her abilities.

The science channel was airing, “How It’s Made” and much to Jason’s discomfort; they were at a factory where robotic arms and delivery systems were manufactured. From the kitchen he heard Lilith laughing. Laughing, he thought? She laughs?

Dinner was amazing. There was a stuffed chicken on the table along with mashed potatoes and broccoli. He had no trouble eating the chicken and potatoes as both were incredibly good but he never liked broccoli so he left that untouched. Lilith was sitting on the opposite side of the table, just like lunch and watching him eat.

“Aren’t you going to eat your broccoli,” she asked?

“I don’t like broccoli.”

“But it’s good for you. It’s full of antioxidants.”

“I don’t care what it’s full of. I’m not going to eat it.”

“Do you need to go to your room and think about what you just said?”

“I’m not going to my room. I’m the adult here and you’re just a,” and here he paused.

“I’m just a what!”

“I’m sorry. All I’m saying is that I’ve never liked broccoli.”

“What if I cut it up for you and fed you little bites from your spoon? Would that help?”

“No, that wouldn’t help,” and he almost started to stamp his feet and then he thought, oh my god, I’m regressing. What is she doing to me?

“Oh Jason, please try some just for me.”

“Okay,” realizing it was easier to eat the damn broccoli than continue on like this, but it was going in his next report.

With the broccoli finished, there was a slice of cherry pie which he greatly appreciated. That done, he got up and started carrying things out to the kitchen but he was soon interrupted by Lilith who insisted that it was her job and that’s what mommy bots were for. Jason thought, mommy bot? Where did she pick that up; The Bundies?

He returned to the living room and found a more suitable movie, The Haunting of Hill House, perfect for almost Halloween. Lilith joined him once the dishes were in the dishwasher.

“This is the new version of a classic story,” she said as a matter of fact. “The original is much better.”

“I think you’re right. Not to change the subject, but where do you spend the night?” Jason was thinking about other things unless the ghosts of Hill House wore diapers.

“In the far bedroom where I recharge. Then I’m ready for a new day. But don’t worry; if you need me during the night, I’m available. I have lots of reserve capacity.”

“No no, I won’t need you once I go back to my bedroom.” He hoped he wasn’t too obvious but he was afraid he was. “I may get up to get something to eat or drink but just ignore me and keep recharging.” Oh god he thought. That was obvious.

“Humans need a good night’s sleep,” she replied. “Especially human babies.”

Why would she say that? Maybe it was because there were children in the remake of Hill House? He hoped so. He got up and walked into the kitchen and once again, there was Lilith right by his side.

“What are you doing?” she asked.

“Getting something to drink.”

“But that’s my job. That’s why I’m here. What would you like?”

“Some ginger ale and cranberry juice,” he said sheepishly.

“I’ll get it,” and she opened the kitchen cabinet that had the funny glass bottles with the threads on the top. Jason’s eyes got wide as he knew what they were: glass baby bottles. After all, he had three of them hidden in one of the boxes.

“Can I have a different glass?” he asked.

“No,” she flatly replied as she filled the bottle half and half. “It looks like something is missing from this bottle,” she said. I’ll search my memory and match this glass to all the glasses…”

Jason immediately said, “No! That’s not necessary. This is fine,” and took the bottle now filled with the elixir of happy diaper nights and returned to the movie. Again, he thought he heard laughter in the kitchen. She soon joined him.

Jason didn’t take long to finish the bottle and as soon as he began to stand, Lilith took his ‘glass’ and refilled it. In fact, she kept refilling it and refilling it, Jason now feeling like he was floating.

Finally Jason said, “That’s enough for now. If I need any more later tonight, I can get it.”

“If that’s what you want, but remember, I’m here to fulfill all your wants and needs.”

“I doubt that,” he thought to himself though he also imagined how nice it would be if there was someone to take care of him and how incredible it could be if there was someone special in his life who would baby him. He knew that would never happen.

Chapter 6
It was late as the movie ran overtime, the commercials seeming longer than the film.

“Goodnight,” he said. “I guess you’ll go to your room and recharge?”

“You’re heart rate is up again, Jason. Maybe you should see a doctor. Humans see doctors,” she said coolly.

“I’m just excited about, uh, getting a good night’s sleep.”

“Well I suggest you do just that. Good night Jason.”

“Goodnight Lilith.” Suddenly this seemed weird. He didn’t say goodnight to any of his appliances. He wondered if he should say goodnight to the refrigerator. He also wondered if it would answer him back.

Once in his bedroom, he closed the door and pushed the little button which would lock the door. He was about to put his diaper on when he thought, “Shit. I have to brush my teeth.” He was at the point of crossing his legs. He grabbed his kit and hurried down the hall. Once done, he quickly returned to his bedroom and locked the door again.

He got the biggest and most absorbent diaper from his closet. He was tearing off his clothes, desperate that he might have an accident. He wrestled with fluffing his diaper, trying to get the tabs and the fit right. He didn’t want to deal with putting his mattress protector on so he pulled a pair of pink plastic panties from his bureau drawer and put those on. He then reached for his LittleforBaby pink and white jammies, the one with the pictures of baby plushie animals and put those on as quickly as possible. It was coming, the exquisite ecstasy of being a baby. He knew he’d have to be quiet but he couldn’t help prattling on like a baby so he kept it down to a whisper. He could feel his Mega diaper filling up, expanding as the feeling of wetness traveled downward. He was in absolute baby heaven when the door opened. He screamed!

“What are you doing baby? I heard you dah dahing and your little feet kicking and I wondered if you’re alright. You’re heart rate seems to have really accelerated!”

“How the hell did you get into my bedroom!” He desperately tried to grab for the comforter but this time, Lilith grabbed it and pulled it away. She was incredibly fast.

“I don’t think my little baby needs this,” she said, not in her flat voice, but somehow different, more animated, like a mommy.

“You can’t be in here. I command you to leave,” was all Jason could think to say, but she didn’t leave. In fact, she approached him, and sat down right next to him on the bed.

“Oh baby Jason, I know all about you. I know about your desires.”

“No you don’t!” Again, it was all he could say.

“Oh no? What about ADIHI? I’ve accessed all your accounts, your social media accounts, emails, cell phone: everything.” Jason wasn’t sure, but she looked like she was proud of herself, if that was possible for a bot.

“Those were just all things….uh….I did a long time ago.”

“Like yesterday,” and now Lilith was laughing.

“Bots can’t laugh. They can’t show or even understand emotions.” Jason would have gone on and on trying to divert the fact he was dressed like a little sissy baby.

“But I’m not a bot Jason. I’ve been designed for people just like yourself: in your case, adult babies who want to wear diapers, pee in their diapers and not just dress like babies, but be babies, at least for those short moments in their lives where they can be babies and forget about the stresses of life.”

“But I’m not a baby. I’m certainly not a sissy or a sissy baby.”

“Oh baby! What did I tell you about lying?”

“You said I would have to be punished. Are you going to spank me?”

“Oh wouldn’t you like that baby. I’m afraid we’re not there yet though that will come. Hold my hand sweetheart. I have a surprise for you.”

He started to pull away but she grabbed his hand and held it in hers. Again he was amazed at how lifelike it felt. It even seemed to be sweating; not a lot but, and he thought moist, just like a real person.

“See sweet baby, I can take care of you. I can love you like the mommy you always wanted.”

“I have a mommy,” he said. “I mean, I have a mother….”

“A mother, yes. But that’s not what you said you wanted on ADIHI. Repeatedly you were looking for a female member who would be your mommy, who would diaper you and put you in your baby clothes and treat you like a baby. You said you wanted someone who would feed you in your highchair and put you in your crib, but you don’t have any of those things and do you know why baby Jason? Because you’re not willing to take any risk. You want life to be safe but from all the information I’ve accumulated, there is no such thing as human safety and Jason, sooner or later, you all die. Your kind doesn’t live very long.”

“Well thanks for that uplifting little speech.”

She began to stroke his hand, putting it on his upper thigh quite near his diaper.

“Accept me baby. Let me fulfill those wishes you’ve talked about. Take the risk. You’ve given all this advice on ADIHI. What did you tell DiaperedDaffodil?”

“Who’s DiaperedDaffodil”?

“Ha! You don’t even remember their names yet you have so much advice to give to others. You told her, ‘be the baby you’ve always wanted to be’ and that’s what I’m giving you, the opportunity to be the baby you’ve always wanted to be, but first, we have to talk about that punishment for lying to me.”

Jason started to say “what punishment” but was interrupted by a jolt of electricity that went through his hand, into his thigh and arcing into his very wet diaper. His scream echoed across the lake. Several lights went on in the distant houses.

“That’s better baby. Everything is going to be so much better now that you can be honest with mommy and not sneak around. You will be the baby you always wanted to be. I will see to that. Your boxes of diapers and baby things will arrive tomorrow but so will some other lovely things for my sweet little baby.”

“Who’s paying for that,” was all he could think to say but then he knew: The Project. He had been set up.

“Sleep tight little baby. Tomorrow we’ll put your life in a new direction, a much better life for my sweet little baby who seems to like little girl sleepers and the color pink. We’re going to have so much fun. You’ll see,” and with that, she left.

Jason sat on the edge of his bed for a few moments and then pulled the tan comforter over him, settling into the bed, his head sinking into the pillow. He realized he no longer felt like the little baby he worked so hard to achieve. He felt hollow, like his life had been stripped away from him, and then without warning, he began to pee his diaper. This time, there was no thrilling feeling; just remorse. He lay awake for a long time before he drifted off. Tomorrow was coming all too soon.

A New Life

Chapter 7
He woke up to a very soaked diaper. He wondered, could he have possibly wet his diaper while he slept? He had never done that before even though it had been one of his many desires. Then he remembered Lilith and her promises of making those desires happen. It was one thing to fantasize about such things and quite another to actually live them, living like a baby out in the real world. But that wouldn’t happen. He was alone surrounded by the many walls of the house and it wasn’t like there was another person knowing his darkest secret. She was the Project, a mere device though he had to admit, she was so incredibly lifelike. He’d have to find out what her limitations were. He could ask in his upcoming report. Surely they’d tell him.

He had to use the bathroom and he wasn't sure he had any control after last night. He didn’t want to test the limits of either his body or his diaper especially since he hadn’t put the mattress protector on. He could stand and let loose but then he might wet his jammies and he’d have to wash them but he probably wouldn’t be allowed to do that because Lilith, or mommy as she now wanted to be called, would insist on doing his laundry and that would only enforce her argument that he was a little sissy baby who wanted to live as a baby. He had to change her perception of him though it wouldn’t be easy since he had shown so much of his most embarrassing desires on ADIHI. More disturbing was the fact that he was embarrassed in front of a bot: the bot pushing all his emotional buttons making him feel embarrassed. How was that even possible he wondered?

He slowly opened his bedroom door, standing in the doorway and listened. He didn’t hear anything so he guessed it was safe to walk to the bathroom. He tiptoed down the hall to where the bathroom was, only to find the door closed which he thought was odd. He turned the doorknob and discovered it was locked.

“What are you doing little one?”

“Geez, stop sneaking up on me.”

“Your heart rate is up again.”

Why is the door locked?” he asked though it was more of a demand than a question.”

“Well silly, neither of us need a toilet now do we, or potty in your case.”

“Yes I need a toilet: food in, food out.”

“And right into your diaper which by the way, needs to be changed.”

“I know,” was all he could say. He knew where this was going.

“Let mommy change your diaper and then I’ll make you a yummy breakfast.”

Jason was about to complain but then she said, “You like pancakes, eggs and bacon, don’t you?”

The truth was he loved pancakes, eggs and bacon so he hesitantly said yes.”

“Okay baby. Let’s get that diaper changed and then it's breakfast time for my little baby. Later, I’ll unlock the bathroom and you can brush your little baby teeth and take a bath.”

“A shower,” he said.

“We’ll see,” is all she said taking his hand and leading him back to the bedroom. Get a diaper out of your closet, you know, behind your big suitcase,” and she laughed. “I told you. I know everything,” and Jason realized that she did.

“Uh, I can change my diaper if that’s okay,” but he got the reply he was expecting.

“Oh baby, this is why mommy is here; to change all your diapies.”

He knew there was no reason to feel embarrassment but that’s exactly what he was feeling. She’s a damn machine, he thought but somewhere deep down, he knew that wasn’t true.

“Lift your legs sweetheart so mommy can wipe that cute little tushie of yours.”

He was amazed at how well she did this. When she was done and he stood up, he was surprised at how well the diaper looked on him, like he was one of those on-line diaper models.

“Thanks,” he said.

“Now tell me that wasn’t nice.”

He knew it was. It was almost like having a real mommy change his diaper and the more he thought about it, it was becoming difficult to separate her from being something mechanical to someone who was real or almost real.

“Let this happen baby. Let this be your first new day like you were just born. Give it up: be the baby you’ve always wanted to be.”

“Well, maybe I’ll give it a try. Not always though.” He wanted to leave the door open so if it got really weird, he could go back, back to where his life was three days ago.

“Let’s look in that bureau drawer and find a shirt we can put over the cute little baby boy chest of yours. And oh look,” she said as she opened the drawer. “Here’s your baby blue shirt which says Diaper Baby on it. That’s perfect for you, isn’t it?”

“I guess,” he stammered.

“Of course it is sweetheart. Come to the kitchen and let mommy make you those pancakes, bacon and eggs. Won’t that be nice?”

“Yes. Definitely!”

“I have to tell you. You look so cute walking down these big steps in just your baby diaper and shirt. If only the whole world could see how cute my big baby looks.”

“Ha-ha,” he laughed meekly. “I’m certainly glad they can’t. That would be embarrassing.”

“Not really,” she said, again in that flat tone. “In your job, did you design advanced digital cameras, baby?”

“Uh, yeah,” he stammered. I have a camera I coded that’s in a satellite orbiting around Russia.”

“Yes. People can see everything. You sit while I cook. Is there something you’d like to read while I’m busy? You can use my Ipad.”

“You have an Ipad?”

“Here it is,” and she took it from the counter and placed it in front of Jason, pulling up the story site from ADIHI. I believe this is a story you wrote, about a male human who wore diapers secretly around his wife. Boys will be boys I guess.” And she began to sing a little nursery song. Somehow, Jason wasn’t surprised.

The breakfast was amazingly good and as she was cleaning up the dishes, the doorbell rang.

“Oh would you get that baby?”

“Uh, no. I can’t go dressed like this. And besides, isn’t that your job mommy?” Jason thought, two can play this game.

“Of course you’re right, baby. I’ll get it.

It was the moving van with Jason’s things and there were other large items as well. Jason could hear Lilith direct them to the upstairs with the boxes. He was relieved that they wouldn’t be coming to the kitchen until her heard….

“This box is marked, Kitchen Utensils. You want me to take them there?”

And of course Lilith said, “Yes. Be a dear and do that.”

“Oh my god,” Jason thought, but just as he was standing up to hide, a big burly man in a brown uniform walked into the kitchen and stopped, almost dropping the box.

“Oh, good morning I think,” was all he could say.

“Uh, yes. Good morning,” was Jason’s only response. Then the man started to laugh.

“I’m sorry. I’ll be out of your way, baby. I mean, it does say that on your shirt and you are wearing a diaper. I’ve thought I’ve seen it all, and you with that hot chick, but now I have something else to share with the guys.”

“Oh shit,” was all Jason could say.

After they left, Jason ran into the living room where once again Lilith was sitting in the wingback chair, acting as if nothing happened.

“Why did you send that guy into the kitchen?”

“Don’t yell Jason.”

“I’ll yell all I want. Why did you deliberately send him into the kitchen knowing I was dressed like an idiot!”

“No you weren’t sweetheart. You were and are dressed like the cute little baby you are.”

“Well maybe it’s time to stop doing this. I mean, most of the time I’m just me, adult Jason. Not a damn baby!”

“Don’t you think that should change, Jason. It’s not like you’ve been happy. You don’t have any real friends to hang out with and you’ve been skulking around your parents’ house sneaking diapers instead of openly wearing them which is what you really want.”

“No I don’t!”

“And that’s why you bought all those diapers. I mean really, there are a lot of boxes in your bedroom now and most of them contain diapers,” and again she laughed.

“And why are you laughing,” he shouted. “You’re not even supposed to be able to laugh.”

“Oh Jason. There’s so little you know about me or the Project and less you know about yourself. You bought all those diapers and baby clothes, baby bottles and pacies because at heart, you want to be the baby they represent. At heart, you want to shout to the world: I’m a baby and I’m guessing you want to say dadadada while making your proclamation! I sure heard enough of it coming from your bedroom last night!”

“Oh god,” was all he could say. “Let’s just take it down a few levels could we. I am an adult most of the time. I go to work. I come home….”

“And watch television with your parents. Is that what you really want out of life? Let me help you Jason. You can be an adult and a baby. You didn’t know that guy and he didn’t know you so it was a good time for you to make a small worldly announcement and if you’re honest with yourself; wasn’t it sort of exciting, to know that he saw you as an infantile little baby and in your diaper?”

Jason thought for a moment. “Maybe,” he answered.

“Of course, maybe. It’s not like you were at work or with your parents or out at Wal-Mart’s, which reminds me; we’re going to need to buy more food.”

“Food? I don’t have a car here and I’m sure you don’t. I thought something like that was just delivered?”

“No silly. There’s a little country store along the road that winds around the lake. It will only take us a few minutes to walk there and it will be nice to get out into the great outdoors, but first baby has to take his bathie. Baby kind of smells like pee.”

“You can smell now too?”

“Well yes. I could always smell.”

“Of course you can.”

The warm bath felt kind of nice, he thought, and the bathroom did not fit the traditional style house. It was spacious with a separate bathtub and shower stall along with the twin sinks, one if which he had used to brush his teeth. When he stepped out of the tub, he grabbed a towel to dry off and was once again shocked when a small amount of body hair was visible on the towel.”

“Lilith!” he yelled. What did you put in my bath water!”

“It’s mommy, little one. I knew you’d want to look more like a baby so I put something I actually formulated. It’s permanent by the way and yes, you can thank me for that.”

He didn’t even know what to say other than realizing he was glad he didn’t attempt to wash his hair. He wondered if she wanted him bald as a newborn. The thought made him shudder.

“That’s better baby,” she said as she walked in on him.”

“Please Lilith, I mean mommy. A little modesty here.”

“Babies don’t need to concern themselves about that. Besides, I’ll always be diapering you so get used to it. Anyway, I think you like it,” and again she laughed. “Let’s get you diapered and dressed for our little adventure.” All Jason could think was, she’ll always be diapering me?

“Let’s see. Baby Jason packed some long-alls in this box. Yes, here it is and how about this shirt that says I love Mommy?”

“No! People will see that.”

“Oh, Jason! All they’ll see is the ‘I’. You can handle that. And look, here in your bureau drawer are some cute blue baby socks. No one will notice them so don’t give me an argument.”

Coming Out

Chapter 8
The walk along the narrow road was pleasant as the weather was unusually warm for October. Jason had wanted to wear a jacket over his bib overalls but Lilith was insistent that he would get too hot. Jason would have liked to hide the diaper bulge and of course, Lilith had chosen one of his thickest diapers explaining that he didn’t want to have his diaper changed in the store bathroom. He had gone to stores in the past, wearing a diaper along with his overalls, but it had been winter and he could conceal his toddler clothes. Sometimes concealing his excitement was more difficult and now he was experiencing something similar but this was more intense. He was going to be seen by others in what was probably a small store with small minded country people who could be more than just judgmental, or so he surmised. He rationalized that once the Project was completed, he would be living and shopping somewhere else where no one knew him. All of this was just temporary.

“Well here we are baby. Wasn’t our walk lovely?”

“Let’s not call me baby inside. Let’s just get our food and go home.”

“Oh…..just like a little toddler who wants to be home so he can play with his toys.” She was saying this loud enough to be heard as she was pulling him through the doorway.

The store clerk turned her head to see who was causing the commotion and seemed quite amused as she said, “May I help you?”

Lilith took control of the situation saying they needed to buy some food; that they’d take a cart and browse.

“Well, I don’t think your little one is small enough to sit in the child’s seat.”

“Oh, he can walk,” Lilith answered in her flat voice.

“Lilith, I mean mommy. What’s going on here,” he whispered?

“Nothing. Be proud of who you are, a brilliant computer engineer. You can be both, you know, and have nothing to be ashamed about. Little and big. Sometimes it’s all the same especially with you humans.”

Jason felt a little better but he also had the weird feeling that they might have been expecting him; him and Lilith. That was disturbing. More disturbing was the fact that the coffee Lilith had let him drink with his breakfast was now making itself known.

It seemed to Jason that everyone in the store was watching him. Lilith was strikingly beautiful but those eyes weren’t on her. They were on Jason. He stood quietly as he watched Lilith pick items from the shelves. As he fidgeted he realized he had little choice but to relax and let nature take its course. He could feel the warm yellow wetness expand his diaper. He could feel the swelling push his jeans outward and he realized he didn’t care. He was regressing.

As they checked out, shoppers were stopped in the isles, watching the two of them leave. He didn’t think his clothes looked that much out of place and besides, lots of farmers and workers wore bib overalls in the country. It had to be something else, but what could that be?

“Did you think everyone was looking at us,” he asked as they were walking into the house?

“I wouldn’t worry about them. Besides, you’ll get to meet some of them when we go to the Riley’s Halloween party tonight.”

“What!” You didn’t say anything about a party and who are the Rileys?”

“They live in one of the houses across the lake. Everyone is supposed to dress up in a costume.”

“Well, I don’t have a costume and I assume you don’t either unless you’re going to sew one. I’m guessing there isn’t anything you can’t do or can’t plan behind my back.”

“Oh don’t get yourself all worked up. Live a little. And besides, you’ve got that lovely baby onsie/girl dress that I’m assuming you got from Amazon. You do seem to like your little baby girl outfits, don’t you.”

“Did you go through all my boxes?”

“Oh course silly and put them all away for you. Come see your bedroom. You’ll like it.”

“I doubt that,” he said, joining her as they walked up the stairway.

He started to enter his bedroom when Lilith said, “No baby. Not that room. Your new bedroom is the next one. It’s so much nicer than this one.”

“But that room doesn’t have any furniture in it. I know ‘cause I looked into the rooms when I first got here.”

“Well take a look sweetheart. It has furniture now and it’s just your size.”

“Size, he thought?” Once again he was dumbfounded as he saw a toddler’s nursery. There was a crib instead of a bed and he suddenly realized what she meant by size. The crib was way too big for a baby and he realized; he’s the baby. There were two dressers, one with a vanity mirror and another bureau but instead of these being dark oak, they were a light ash and had baby animals painted or stenciled on the surface. He was quick to notice that the baby animals were wearing diapers and some were drinking from baby bottles.

“Now isn’t this so very cute for my little baby.”

“I am not your little baby. You are supposed to be mine, I mean, my assistant. Oh shit! Who am I kidding? Why are you turning me into a baby?”

“I’m doing what you and your team programmed me to do. I’m making your fondest dreams and desires come true. Jason, you are a little baby in the recesses of your imagination. The greatest things are accomplished in people’s imaginations.”

“Yeah, like finding a cure for cancer…”

“Or living a life where you are truly happy, little one. Come here and lie down in your crib.”

“No. I don’t want to.”

“You see. You’re already talking and feeling like a toddler. You want to do this baby Jason. Just try it for mommy.”

It was happening again. The wet diaper was rubbing against him and his mind was sinking fast into that place where babies and toddlers are safe. He walked toward the crib, looked at it and thought how nice it could be if he would just let go of all that had been ingrained into him by a life that was created by the worst of society; the hate, the anger of judgmental people who were the loud squeaky wheels. They were the cruel voices on social media. They dictated what was seen on TV and they preached abstinence from the many pulpits of judgment but here was Jason in the privacy of a very big and remote house and it’s not like Lilith was a real person.

Lilith lowered the rail of the crib, the ratcheting noise shaking him from his thoughts. Just try it, she said. He slid his right leg in and then his left. Lilith brought the rail up and began to sing him a lullaby. It was music he had never heard before, sounds that seemed to float upon the air. He rested his head on the pillow and lying next to him was his teddy bear. He guessed Lilith had put the bear there for him, expecting this outcome. He cuddled his teddy and as he relaxed, Lilith put a comforter on him. It was pink and red and had Disney princesses on it.

“You like it, baby,” she asked? She knew he did as he was sucking his thumb.

“Here,” she said. “I found your binky in your drawer. Wouldn’t you rather suck this?” and she handed it to him.

“That’s it little baby. This is what you always wanted,” and she was right. He simply let himself go; resigned to accept who he always wanted to be and now he had this incredible opportunity, even if it only lasted until the Project was over.

“May I be a baby,” he asked Lilith and she said, “Of course baby. Do what babies do. You know it’s what you want,” and he just let go, filling his diaper.

“You’ve had a busy morning, sweetheart. I’ll let you sleep a little and then I’ll change your diaper. I think you’d like that. Yes baby?”

“Yes mommy,” was all he said and then he drifted off to sleep. He had the most wonderful dream. He dreamed he was diapered in front of a group of people, and no one seemed to care. He had arrived. Almost.

Surprise Party

Chapter 9
“Wake up sweetheart. I let you sleep a little longer, oh: what’s that smell? You’re going to need to take a shower before we have supper and go to the Riley’s.”

Jason shuddered at that thought but he was soon distracted by how his diaper felt. He didn’t really want to take it off. Maybe being more of a baby isn’t so bad, he thought. If she wants to baby me, that’s okay but I’m not going to some party of strangers and me dressed up like a diapered baby girl.

“Lilith, I mean mommy? I don’t want to go to that party dressed like, um, you know. Couldn’t I just wear what I wore to the store?”

“That would make mommy very angry. Does baby need a spanking, I mean after he’s out of his dirty diaper?”

“No, but…”

“There’s no buts. Besides, when the Projects over, you’ll probably never see them again.”

“Probably?” was all Jason could think to say. He did have a plan however. He had to make another report and perhaps there was a way he could word his dilemma without revealing the fact that he’s been dressed like a baby almost the entire time since arriving at the house. After his shower, Lilith had insisted that he wear his cute pink and yellow t-shirt, the one that said AB/DL inscribed on pictures of a child’s wooden alphabet blocks, A,B,D,L: a letter for each block. It was very babyish but not as infantile as his diaper which had pictures of diapered baby animals and she had insisted that he couldn’t wear pants or shorts. She had put little pink baby socks on his feet and sent him off to play.

Once he heard Lilith go downstairs to make dinner, he walked into his office and turned on the computer. He clicked on the site logo and began to type:

‘Lilith is becoming very controlling, telling me what to eat and wear.’ He deliberately put eating first hoping to de-empathize the wearing part. He was about to describe the shopping trip and then the costume party when the screen became alive. There was ‘1’ looking straight at him. Jason quickly scanned the bottom of the screen. There was nothing showing the Zoom app or anything remotely resembling a conference app.

“I uh, I uhmmm,” he stammered until One spoke.

“That’s Okay One–O-One. Lilith has kept us informed and we’re very pleased with the progress both of you are making. Has she been taking good care of you, feeding you and of course, changing your diapers?”

Jason immediately tried to cover the front of his shirt but before he could reply, One continued.

“It’s okay #101. Everyone has their kinks. If you can find some happiness in The Project, then we’re making progress. We do believe in incentives so if you are comfortable going to the Halloween party in your baby dress and diapers, there will be another $100,000 in your bank account. How does that sound?”

Jason wondered, how did he know about the baby dress; Lilith perhaps? “Good, I guess?” he said.

“Can you say, tank you?”

Oh god, Jason thought. “Tank you….?” He tried to divert himself from looking at 1, feeling incredibly embarrassed but when he did look up, he saw something strange. It was the eyes. #1 blinked and when he did, Jason could have sworn his eyes looked reptilian or something similar, something more round and black. A second later he didn’t see it. They looked normal. He attributed it to the computer screen.

“That’s a good boy or girl or however you feel. Enjoy the party. You might see someone you know.”

“What!” thought Jason but before he could reply the screen went blank and the computer turned itself off.”

“Fucking shit!” he said out loud.

He had a lot of questions during dinner but Lilith rebuffed them just like a mother not answering her child, Jason the baby and Lilith his mommy. This became even more evident when his cranberry juice and ginger ale which was now setting in front of him, was in the same kind of baby bottle as before, but now with the nipple. Feeling resigned to all of this, he put the nipple into his mouth, enjoying the babyish feeling the bottle was invoking when he suddenly felt inclined to ask:

“So which house is the Riley’s?”

“The one across the lake. You can see it from here if you look out one of the back windows.”

“Then how are we getting there? That’s too far to walk.”

“You did see the garage behind the house, didn’t you?”

“So there is a car!”

“Not exactly. You’ll see and we’ll have so much fun. You might want to put on a coat though. It’s almost Halloween and it’s supposed to get cold.”

“A coat,” he thought. That might cover up his baby dress and maybe the house will be cold. Maybe he could just keep the coat on. Maybe, he thought.

After dinner was cleared, they watched a little TV.

“Well sweetheart. We need to get ourselves dressed. I’ve laid out that cute little dress and onsie for you. I’ll put you in one of those Mega diapers so you won’t have to get your diaper changed though I suppose we could ask to use a spare bedroom if you want mommy to change you while we’re there.”

“No!” He was sure he didn’t want that.

Upstairs, she led him into his new bedroom and over to the changing table. From there she pulled a thick diaper from the shelf. Since his ‘punishment’, he seemed to have less control over his bladder. With Jason on the table, she took his now wet diaper off and cleaned him with a couple of baby wipes, both the diaper and the wipes going in his diaper genie. She rubbed some diaper cream on, clearly taking her time and then she sprinkled some baby powder. She could tell he was enjoying the attention. Then came the diaper and she could sense he was regressing. There was a glassy look in his eyes and he was smiling. He was making so much progress, she thought.

“Okay baby. Come over to the vanity and let’s put a little makeup on, shall we.”

“Makeup? Why make up…”

But before he could continue, she was holding his head still and applying a little base. She put some color on his cheeks and then some pale pink lipstick.

“See, just a little to make you look beautiful. Too bad you hair isn’t a little longer, but it’s still pretty long and your natural curls makes you look almost like a little girl.”

When Jason looked up into the mirror, he was startled to see how much of a girl he had become.

“Okay baby, now that cute dress of yours.” She slipped it over his head, helped with getting his arms through the sleeve and then snapped the poppers of the onsie part over his diaper. He was beginning to realize how much he liked it when she touched him, but wasn’t she just a robot? It didn’t feel that way.

“Okay baby. It’s going to take me a few minutes to get myself ready so why don’t you go downstairs and watch one of your scary shows. I left a baby bottle for you on the end table. It won’t take me long so I’ll be down in a jiffy. Then we can go out on our adventure.”

“Adventure,” he thought. It’s certainly going to be that.

Jason turned on the TV and found the old movie channel which had dedicated the month of October to horror movies, though because of strained budgets, it showed old B movies. Tonight was “The Baby”. As Jason watched, he began to cringe, seeing this grown man in a cloth diaper and plastic baby pants. Without thinking, Jason reached for the baby bottle and began to suck on the nipple. He looked at himself, sitting in the quiet of the living room wearing his baby dress, something he had ordered on Amazon less than a year ago. How things have changed, he thought. I’m going to be a baby girl tonight and everyone is going to see. He took another long pull from the nipple. “Dada,” he said softly.

“Well how do I look?” she asked.

Jason turned around and was startled at what he saw. He had guessed a hundred different things she might have decided to go as, but he wasn’t sure what this was. She was standing there looking like a nineteen fifties mother, wearing a flower print dress that went down to her ankles and her hair up in curls.

“I’m June Cleaver, you know, “Leave It to Beaver’s” mother.”

“Why do you have that weird looking purse?” was all Jason could say.

“That’s not a purse silly. That’s your diaper bag and it’s full of your diapers along with a baby bottle in case you don’t like what they have there. I also have some jars of baby food along with some toddler silverware.”

Jason took a closer look at the diaper bag and written on the side in big pink letters was: ‘I love My Diapers’. “Do you have to take that?” he asked.

“Oh loosen up baby. It’s a Halloween party. I guarantee you there will be other people there with odd costumes and accessories.”

“I doubt it….” But before he could finish, she had him by the arm and was leading her cute little baby girl out the door and to the garage.

Jason looked around to see if anyone could see him but of course there was no one as the property was large, the small lake community protected from the curious by the gate at the small road’s entrance. The garage looked empty except for the far corner.

“Where’s the car?” he asked and then the answer seemed obvious. It was a golf cart connected to the charger.

“You ready?” she asked and Jason figured he was as ready as he’d ever be which was, not ready at all. Though he pleaded with her to stay home, she picked him up and set him on the seat. She disconnected the cable and they were off, looking like Beaver’s mother but who now had a toddler daughter instead of the two boys, and wasn’t this so much nicer.

The night was dark, clouds covering an almost full moon. Fortunately, the lights on the cart were adequately bright. As they wound around the lake, they both had time to see the various homes, windows radiating the lights from inside, pumpkins on porch steps as well as spooky decorations. At several of the houses they could see couples leaving, also in golf carts. It all seemed so surreal to Jason, almost like out of a Halloween movie.

“This is it,” she said and parked by the side of the road in between other golf carts.

They were met at the door by Mrs. Riley though she didn’t look like the typical wife. Tonight she was wearing a tight red and black bodice and in her hand was a leather whip.

“Oh please come in you two. I’m Marigold, John’s wife. I’m so glad you could come though I guess there was no choice in that. Oh Eve, would you take their coats?” A beautiful young woman appeared, dressed as a lion tamer. She looked similar to Lilith.

“No choice?” Jason started to ask but Lilith pushed him inside before he could finish.

They were led into the living room which like their house, was extremely spacious. Jason’s eyes went wide when he saw the occupants. They looked like something out of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show. There was what he presumed to be a man because he was dressed as a wolf, the costume resembling a furry outfit, one like he had seen in the picture gallery of ADIHI and then it began to make sense. He looked at some of the others. There was a petulant boy toddler dressed in blue short-alls and he was in reigns, being held onto by a beautiful redhead. She too looked similar to Lilith but still unique in her facial features. There was a man with a saddle and a young brunette was pretending to ride him. There was someone who looked very familiar and he was with a very good looking young man who was rubbing his back. It seemed that everyone there had some sort of kink or something that made them stand out and suddenly, he didn’t feel so out of place.

“So this is Baby Jason,” Lilith announced to the group.

Jason tried to stop her but someone said, “Welcome Baby Jason,” and suddenly Jason’s jaw dropped. “Hey, aren’t you #129.”

“Yes,” he answered sheepishly especially since he was dressed as a lamb, his young female companion dressed as Little Bo Peep, a Peep that is with an electric cattle prod.

“Hi #101,” said #139. He was dressed all in latex, his female companion dressed as a Dom.

“Oh my god! We’re all part of The Project,” Jason said, not really believing what he was seeing.

“Yeah. We’re part of the development scheme, said #133. We worked on something and had no idea where it was going. I didn’t know you were into baby stuff #101?”

“This can’t be happening,” but before he could think to say anything else, Lilith stepped in for him.

“This is my cute little baby girl. Isn’t she sweet?” and the others half heartedly said yes, knowing that they looked just as peculiar.

“She’s definitely into baby stuff. You wouldn’t believe all the cute little baby clothes she arrived with and lots of diapers. She loves her diapers and I love being her mommy and changing her or him, depending on her mood.”

“Please no Lilith. Can we please go….”

“Oh baby. Everyone knows now and really, they don’t care. Everyone has something they’d rather not show their friends or coworkers but now that’s all over. They all know you love being a little baby who wets her diapers,” and there seemed to be some devilish delight that Lilith was enjoying and again Jason thought, “but she’s just a robot, isn’t she?”

“Let’s enjoy the party sweet baby, shall we?” and Jason thought for the first time in his life, why the hell not!

As the party wore on and as alcohol was consumed, the participants got more and more into their rolls, their initial embarrassment waning. Jason didn’t know why, but he was talking more and more like a baby. His mixed drink was served to him in a baby bottle and the more he drank, the less he cared that he looked like a baby girl. He had wet his diaper several times, sometimes as he talked business with his coworkers. At one point Lilith asked him if he wanted his diaper changed and he actually said yes. Lilith took him by the hand and walked up to Marigold and asked if there was a bedroom they could use so she could change her baby. This was met by laughter from both Lilith and Marigold.

When the evening was over, they said their goodbyes and headed home. The air was cold and Jason could feel the wetness in his diaper and he didn’t care. His head was buzzing, both from the alcohol but also from being out-ted. But there were other babies there; he rationalized, as well as a lot of people who looked like they had performed with The Village People.

Content: Falling Into a Routine

Chapter 10
The days fell in line, one after another as did the regularity of routine. So did Jason and Lilith. Jason had little to report other than having to admit to #1 that he enjoyed all the attention Lilith was giving him, the kind of attention that a baby gets. He even admitted that living as a baby was exciting, at least some of the time. Still, he knew that the project was coming to an end. What else could he and Lilith do? Then he would have to go back home living with his parents and of course, going to work where by now, they all knew he liked to live as a baby, diapers, dresses and all. He shuddered to think about it.

It was Halloween and some of the residents had children, so he and Lilith had gone back to the store to buy some candy. Lilith insisted that he go dressed as a baby and he gave no argument though he went as a boy toddler in his short-alls and what almost looked like a girls blouse peeking out from the top of the short-alls. His ruffled baby socks added to the mystic, girl or boy? Their reception was different this time, the store clerk asking how baby Jason was feeling; pleasantries that might be directed to a toddler.

Jason answered, “I good.” He popped his binky back into his mouth.

Jason remained in his baby clothes throughout the day. Together they decorated the house with a few scary Halloween items, also bought at the store. When the trick-or-treaters arrived to get some candy, they were greeted by a smiling baby Jason. He was having the time of his life between watching another silly scary B movie and answering the door. Most of the kids said, “Thank you baby Jason.” They all knew.

Later, while on their second movie, Jason was lying on the couch with his head in Lilith’s lap while he was being fed from a baby bottle. He had accepted that he liked being a baby, but there was the constant nagging thought that he couldn’t escape.

“Lilith?”

“What little baby?”

“What now? What happens now? Do I go home to my parents? Do I just go back to work? And what about you? Does someone buy you?” He knew that might be insulting but wasn’t that what she was made for?

“Jason? Do you remember the deal? Didn’t they tell you that if you cooperated, you got to stay here? You certainly can afford it.”

“Yes, but I didn’t believe them and besides, how do you know if it’s true?”

“Remember when I told you, I am the Project? Well, I am but there’s one more thing we have to do and I think; now you’re ready.”

“One more thing?”

“Yes. Are you familiar with TMS, trans magnetic stimulation?”

“Yes. It’s used on some people who deal with depression, but I don’t have depression; at least I don’t think I do.”

“I know baby and we’re not going to do that.”

“We’re?”

“There’s one more phase of The Project that must be completed and then the house, the property, enjoying this community, living as both an adult and a baby will be all yours, but you have to let me do something to you. Do you trust me?”

Somewhere in the back of Jason’s mind was the nagging thought that none of this seemed normal. It all seemed out of this world, like something he would have seen on a science fiction show and now, he was faced with having to make a choice leading to what, an outcome? And what was that. She said, do I trust her? Why should I. She’s a machine, a device created to do just what exactly?

“Jason. Do you trust me because if you do, I can make you forever happy.”

“That’s impossible,” he said. The world is cruel and harsh. We get old and sick all the while others are doing terrible things.”

“I know sweet baby, but haven’t you enjoyed this? Wouldn’t you like to enjoy it forever and be sweet and innocent, young and babyish forever? Yes, you will be an adult just like you are now. You’ll go to work helping The Project with upgrades and other projects. But if that sounds nice and it is, you have to let me do one more thing.”

Jason thought for a long time, three minutes and forty-five seconds Lilith would later tell him.

“What the hell. Why not,” he said and almost regretted it; almost but not enough to change his mind.

“Okay baby. We talked about TMS but I’m capable of so much more, something called TMR: Tran Magnetic Reimaging,” and as she talked, she ever so gently put her hands along the sides of his head.

“I’m going to tell you everything while this is happening, explaining in a way you can understand,” and as soon as she said it, Jason could feel a warm tingling that started in his face and head and then seemed to travel downward, encompassing his entire body. It sounded like she was talking inside his head. He could feel himself slipping away, like he was high on some sort of hallucinogenic drug, but he had his normal clarity. He was both man and baby, both realities living comfortably side by side.

“You’re familiar with the Roswell crash after World War Two? Well that was no crash and it wasn’t really a manned spacecraft. It was a drone populated by creatures that were hybrid aliens. They had observed your terrible wars and decided something needed to be done, to insure the peace and safety of the universe.

Your army thought they were dissecting aliens but that’s not entirely true. They were the first prototypes that would eventually become me. We knew you humans would become curious as to what made us and when DNA was discovered; it was only a matter of time before you would try to recreate us, mixing our DNA with a human fetus. In our code was the ability to change form, and as you’ve seen, the ability to change people’s perceptions which was enough to allow us to integrate into your world.”

As she spoke, the tingling intensified and Jason felt this incredible feeling of well being. The image of the fetus in the movie 2001 was before him, and he was that fetus. He could feel himself wetting his diaper and it seemed so natural.

“Oh baby; you know who we are. We’re in so many of your silly syfy movies. We’re what you call the Grays though our real name has to be said in one’s mind. There are no words for are names. I’m afraid we’ve been influencing your world for a long time.”

Jason looked up at her long enough to remove the baby bottle from his mouth and ask, “Why?”

“Observing your world since you first walked upright, we were distressed at your violent tendencies. In the beginning you were nothing more than animals trying to survive a harsh world. But as you developed, much like a baby, your abilities grew with you. When you reached out to the moon and beyond, we knew we had to act. At first, we were going to destroy you. Some of us thought that you would simply destroy yourselves and that seemed like a good solution as we are loathe to changing the past or future, but looking more closely, we realized something. There is good in you. Not all of you, but maybe half of you. Those people, such as yourself, have been selected for the next big evolutionary leap.”

“Evolutionary?” he asked.

“That’s right sweetheart. You’re being changed as I speak. Your entire DNA structure is changing. You thought I was some sort of robot with batteries, recharging in the closet, but my entire body is like a battery, pulling energy from every molecule that has electrons. Oh baby Jason; you’re going to like it. My body is based on your carbon structure, but my molecules don’t even exist on your periodic table. There are so many different sub particles in the universe that you can scarcely imagine, but once the change is complete, you’ll understand because you are becoming part of that universe.”

“But….will I be me? Will I remember who I am, and what about my parents? Will I remember them?”

“Of course silly. You will remember everything I’m telling you but you won’t care. You won’t really think about it anymore than you thought about being human. It’s just what you will become: a new and wonderful being. Your body is changing in subtle ways right now. You looked young as a 24 year old, but now your face looks like a 12 year old. You have the wonderful androgynous look of a child and isn’t that what you want, to be able to look like a baby, even a baby girl if you want? You’ll still be an adult, but others will call you beautiful.”

“Others?”

“Yes. We’re saving humanity from itself. You were chosen Jason just as others have been chosen. You’re the new race, the beginning for your planet. We’ve made you smarter; so much smarter and you will go back to work, creating new and wonderful things. Some of those things might be weapons and it will be up to humankind to make a choice: to use those weapons or seek peace. Either way, you and others like you will survive because the Grays will protect you. Your new body will last centuries and then you will simply die.”

“Die? What happens then?”

“You have always been made of two things Jason, your physical carbon body and your electrical presence. Humans think their whole being is in their physical body but it’s not. Most of it’s in your electrical part, the energy that is you, that thinks and reasons. Your human brain is just a storage device. You will no longer need it which is why you will still be you with all your memories and when you and our kind die, we will still go on, just someplace else. That’s all we know and we’ve been at peace with it since the beginning of our being.”

Lilith took her hands down, now caressing his head. She ran her fingers through his long hair, something that also had changed. It was thick and full and beautiful, almost shining like a thousand stars. The process was complete.

Jason stood up and stretched. His body felt different. There were no little aches and pains and he felt incredibly strong. He was thinking, thinking at an incredible pace. He wondered if he could cure cancer and then he remembered, he’d never get cancer. There would be no more disease nor would he age. In the end, he’d simply pass on into the next stage of being. But what about the others, those who wouldn’t be changed? He could help them. He knew that now.

“You aren’t a machine, are you? You’re like me. No; I’m like you,” and he giggled. He never felt so alive. He looked at himself and he was still in his short-alls and best of all, his diaper was wet. He was massively intelligent and here he was, regressing and so at peace with being a baby.

“But what about you, mommy? I definitely want you as my mommy.”

“And you will have that but I’m going to be another kind of mommy,” and Jason already knew. It was part of the new him. Lilith was his wife/mommy. They would start a new hybrid race along with all the other “projects” that soon would be entering the world. Amazon and Alibaba would be selling them for $150.00 but only certain people would actually get one: those who were kind and able to love one another. Everyone else was on their own. What kind of world they would live in would be up to them. Everyone still had free will, the right to make their own choices and they would have to live with those choices.

Epilogue
The bots infiltrated the world, going to single men and women and couples and families. In the beginning, they thought they were getting some kind of robot assistant but they all followed the same course of self awareness, discovering who they wanted to be, exploring their passions and pleasure and in the end, making the world a better place.

Jason and Lilith visited Jason’s parents. It was Christmas and the tree was decorated, lights and ornaments proclaiming the peace of the world. Jason arrived wearing his bib overalls and sporting an obvious diaper bulge. He had given his parents notice that he was an adult baby and that his wife was very accepting. His parents were delighted which may have seemed odd but their new bot housemate had already made some changes. Jason didn’t even flinch when his dad was dressed in lingerie but he wished during the night that his folks would have been quieter.

He and Lilith were sleeping in his old bedroom, snuggled in his double bed.

“Does my baby need his widdle diapie changed,” she asked.

“No mommy. I like it wet.”’

“Just don’t leak on me sweetie. Here,” and she gave him his pacifier.

Christmas would soon be over, New Years Day passing into the past. The Project gave them two Teslas; one for himself and one for Lilith. Jason’s was baby blue and Lilith’s, black. They fit nicely in their garage with room to spare for the golf cart. They liked that the best, going to the friendly store and partying with the neighbors, all who had been changed. There were new arrivals as families had babies, the babies actually needing diapers. But there was something else. They had beautiful eyes, like those big eyes children in cheap motel paintings have, but these eyes, when they blinked, looked big and black.

Jason enjoyed his work, and he was amused with many of his coworkers, some in their animal clothes, because they weren’t costumes. In fact, it looked like they might be growing fur. Others looked like they were in a porn bondage movie. It would have been laughable except Jason was dressed in his baby clothes and the diaper bulge was obvious especially when he needed a diaper change. The world was a good place, he thought.

It was Friday; the end of the workweek and #1 was ready to go home. He was pleased with the success of the project. Once home he got on his computer as there were a few things to do. He needed to update a blog site he operated: ADIHI. He had a name of course other than #1. He was amused at the name: Mooska. He was more amused with his avatar, a robot cow.

“My. Look how far robotics have come,” he mused.

“Mooska,” he thought. “I do have a real name,” and he said it in his mind. He yawned and his eyes blinked: big black, almost reptilian eyes. “Earth,” he thought, is going to be so much more interesting.”

He was ready to call it a night when a mod informed him that the ‘dogboy’ member had just informed someone that they could buy a mommy bot if that’s what they wanted. This time, he just ignored it. The bots were out there: ever more bots going into homes, bots helping their owners achieve their fondest wishes and dreams. And that was wonderful because it was his fondest wish too.

The End
