Content: The following morning, Laurie awoke early after a hard night of tossing and turning as she sat, huddled against the head board of her caged bed consumed with dread over what it was Nathen intended to do with the bottle of baby powder he'd taken from her the day prior. Long after she was made free from her magical confinement, Laurie still remained as she was in the fetal position as she nervously chewed at a hang nail on her thumb.

Eventually she gained the composure to get out of bed, dress herself in a loose fit romper and went about her morning routine as casually as she could given the her supernatural circumstance and sense of impending doom what with Nathen coming back over and all. By the time the moment arrived, Laurie was in the kitchen finishing up her bottle of coffee as Nathen's knocks upon the door came ringing through the apartment space like funeral bells echoing in an old town square.

Laurie took a deep breath and opened the door as Nathen waltzed in his more casual wear of a tee shirt and torn jeans, pushing a baby stroller with a bag of baby supply in it.

Nathen "Hello Laurie darling, ready for a fun little evening together."

Laurie "Uh you're just here to fix my computer correct?"

Nathen "Yes but I figured we can going out shopping for the replacement part together. Just so we can spend some quality time with each other and catch up. That's why I got you this nice little stroller here."

Laurie "Ha - no."

Nathen "You know I've been reading this nice little bottle of yours and I've learned quite a few things. Laurie, you get in the stroller right this minute. You hear me!"

Nathen cleared out the bag of stuff he bought as Laurie suddenly found herself whisked off her heels and pulled over to the stroller where her padded butt was squeezed tightly into the seat as the strapped wrapped themselves around and secured her within.

Laurie "Get me out of this! You hear me, get me - -"

Nathen stuck a pacifier in her mouth, silencing her as she was compelled to suck on it the more she struggled to pull it out.

Nathen "Now, let's go for a little stroll down to the computer shop to get that replacement part."

Laurie kicked her legs, pulled at the straps of her stroller and shook her head furiously trying to escape.

Nathen "Now now, some fresh air will do you well. Plus a little humiliation may just be what you need to take you off your high horse. Come along now."

Nathen retrieved her diaper bag and strolled Laurie out the door and down the hall where they took the elevator on down to the lobby where they then took to the streets as Nathen pushed Laurie in the stroller down the public block as ever person that saw them stared, smirked and giggled at her as they passed by. Everyone from the old to the young, rich and poor couldn't help but be arrested by the sight of a young woman sitting in a stroller sucking on a pacifier. Their wicked grins and chuckling laughter made Laurie's spine quiver and her muscles tense as her face blushed as red as a rose, prompting her to bury her head in her hands before she could begin to cry. The computer shop was just as much of a nightmare. At one point while Nathen was taking his time finding the replacement part he took notice of the worker behind the counter constantly glancing down at her.

Nathen "What's wrong - ever seen a woman go out for a stroll?"

Eventually, yet not nearly soon enough, Nathen got the replacement part for Laurie's computer and the two returned back to the sanctuary of her apartment where Laurie finally broke into tears after a long while of holding them back and sobbed with her head in her hands.

Laurie "Damn you, damn you, damn you."

Nathen "Now now, I just wanted to teach you a lesson in humility. You've been quite high and mighty thinking so much of yourself ever since you graduated college and started your own business, so much so that you've been incapable of taking any bit of criticism or order from another person whatsoever. On top of that you've been particularly moody and stubborn ever since this whole diaper affair started."

Nathen strolled Laurie into the bedroom and undid the straps in her stroller before holding out a stuffed rabbit he'd gotten her.

Nathen "Here, I got you a new stuffed animal."

Laurie batted the stuffed animal away.

Laurie "The reason I'm in this situation is because some dumb barista threw this magic bottle at my head, not knowing it was magic, and when I used it out of convenience it did this to me! I'd like to use it on her so that she'd have to put up with a load in her pants."

Nathen "See, that's always been the problem with you. You've never been able to be the adult in the situation. It doesn't matter how bad the other person is you should know better than to stoop to their level. Besides it was you're own fault for using the bottle. Neither one of you knew what you were doing, it was all just an act of misfortune. And now that you're stuck like this you act as if the whole world should come to a stop because you're inconvenienced."

Laurie got out of the stroller and plopped down on the bed with her arms crossed as Nathen began to work on her computer.

Nathen "I spoke to Jean online yesterday and she told me all that happened and that you snapped at her and weren't talking to her anymore. Now I know these past few weeks have been stressful for you, but guess what honey, life's tough for a lot of people. If the worst thing to happen to you is that you have to have your bottom wiped every time you wet your shorts then things have been pretty great for you thus far."

Laurie continued to wipe the tears from her face as she glared at Nathen with a mean look.

Nathen "I've been mugged twice this year. I had to get my dinner from a soup kitchen a couple of nights and you know what, now I donate some of my time working at that soup kitchen. I've seen the same people sleeping outside my apartment every night for about a year now. Some of them are old people who worked almost ever day of his life for decades just so that he could get kicked out of a nursing home somewhere because they still couldn't afford to stay there any longer. Life's rough Laurie, and you're just going to have to take your lumps like the rest of us whether you deserve it or not."

Laurie "Well I shouldn't been in this situation for much longer. I figured out how to break the curse."

Nathen "And how's that?"

Laurie "Oh, his name is Darrin. And he's not going to like you very much once he finds out what you did to me."

Nathen "Is that so?"

Laurie "All I need is true love's care and my pain and suffering is over. Meanwhile you'll still be stuck being an obnoxious, pain in the ass loser."

Nathen "After all I've done for you, this is how you show gratitude?"

Laurie "Oh kiss my butt you dumb freak. Why don't you go home and walk around in your mommy's heels like I know you still do."

Nathen "That's it! Come here!"

Nathen dropped what he was doing and sat down on the bed next to Laurie, directing her to his lap. Laurie was then suddenly pulled off the bed and over Nathen's lap as he raised his hand in the air behind her backside. Laurie looked back, wide eyed as she was practically glued to Nathen's knees. She saw him wined up his hand and. . .

Smack!

Laurie "Ow!"

Nathen wound up again and spanked her bottom again and again and again as Laurie gritted her teeth and clenched her fist in pain and anger.

With her bottom now stinging from the spanking Nathen let her off his lap as he stood up next to her.

Nathen "Laurie, go to the corner right this instance, you're in a time out young lady!"

Suddenly, Laurie was lifted off her heels once again and was pulled by a great force across the room and into the corner where she was bound to face the wall.

Nathen "Now according to this magic bottle I've been reading, whenever you do something that you know was bad when you did it, you can be forced into a time out."

Laurie struggled to free her body from the unseen force that constrained her but to no avail.

Nathen "Now I'll finish fixing up the computer that you broke while you stay right there and think about what you did."

Laurie gave a huff as she submitted to the punishment. Nathen meanwhile could be heard in the background fixing her computer.

After a long while later, Nathen completed his work and the computer was up and running again.

Nathen "There, it's fixed. You can get out of the corner now."

The force binding Laurie was released and she was allowed to move freely again.

Nathen "Did you think about what you said to me?"

Laurie gave a long sigh.

Laurie "Yes - I'm sorry for calling you a loser and making fun of the fact that you told me you like to wear lady's heels."

Nathen "Now I told you that as a friend and you know better than to say stuff like that, even when you're upset."

Laurie "I know! I'm just angry over all that's happened and all."

Nathen "Good, then maybe you'll be in a better mood when I come and visit next weekend. Just to check up on my old friend."

Laurie's faced become flushed with anger once again before she could took a long breath and regain her composure.

Laurie " - Fine!"

Nathen "Thank you. Now I've got to be on my way. I've left the baby powder on you dresser. And you can keep the stroller and toys I got you."

Nathen packed up his belongings and stepped out.

Laurie, finally alone, sat down on her bed again with her arms crossed where she heard her phone buzzing. It was a text from Darrin.

"Any plans this week?"

Laurie texted back to him.

"Only to see you again. I'm available any evening this week."

Darrin replied.

"Then every evening it is."

Laurie laid back on her bed. She saw the stuffed rabbit that she'd slapped out of Nathen's hand and picked it up. She looked at it for a while before holding it against her chest and staring up at the ceiling for just a while longer.
