Content: Every story has it's hero and every lie has its truth.
It's not everyday that the world seemed so grey. The absent of contrast bluring together small parties in the distance outside of the window. Why did people gather underneath the pavalalion when it rained? Do they not enjoy the rush of the drops against their skin? A bird. The bird understands, he flys through the rain just like he flys everyday. Reminding me that today is just another day, in a world of endless days. My docile glare finds it way to the page before me, as I turn to the next along with the sound of class doing the same. The only noticible differnce between my hand and the page before it was the nerves inside of it, proof that it was my own, but to me it could just be part of a painting, that some artist never completed.
The teachers voice, drowned out the sound of the airconditioner as she rambled on about her life and how hard it to get us students to learn and to listen. I feel my heart begin to race as the room arround me slowly morphs into one large encompasing grey mass. Blackness suddenly appeared before me, my hands are gone, my feet are gone, my being, everything is gone. I catch myself falling out of the nightmare, an instant before my head could hit the desk below it. No one notices, no one cares, the world is grey today.

I am not sure where this story is going, I just wanted to write, but I thought I would post it and see if others enjoyed my style of writing.

Content: Why did I expect something else?
I am but another blade in a field of weeds, awaiting the reaper. I am not the flower, I am not the color in the gray, I am just a blade. I am delusional and bored out of my mind, where did all the excitement in my life go?
-”I will become a doctor, the best ever. I will win and become a chess grandmaster. When I grow up I will move to japan, and have a wife with 14 kids...” I spoke these words at my six grade graduation, in an auditorium filled with proud and ecstatic parents-
This flashback is stained to my memory, reminding me of the color I once was, and the color that I am now. White, but then it didn’t mater, the gray matter that is, every room I entered I made void of the gray. Now the gray envelopes my awareness, and swallows me whole, the world around me shrinks as my omniscience expands to the edges of the room. I am aware of the gray, and yet I understand nothing of it. The world I belong to has eaten my aura and left me bare, starving for color, yet everyone and everything is gray.
I wonder if there is anyone else in this world who can see beyond the gray. I want to know everything. I want to feel everything. I want to know what the teacher just said.
The grayness becomes stagnant in my peripheral as I bring myself to the sound of my own name echoing throughout my head. Sol.
The teacher repeats my name again, “yes, Sol?”
I lower my hand that I had raised while adrift.
“Can you repeat the question?” I asked her.
The class ruffles and small soft muffled chuckles make their way around the room.
Without acknowledgement of the now diminishing presence that filled the class, she retorted:
“I did not ask a question.”
There was a questioning pause that quickly became intrusive to my own well being, and by doing so initiating the words out loud as they became the thought that filled my mind.
“Can you repeat what you just said?” I asked
Overwhelmed by my own folly, I awaited the return.
“The Eden Growth Model ...” she began much to my surprise after setting her up with such a opportunity to rattle me with my own shenanigans.
“can be used to explain the growth of some extremophiles like the Chernobyl fungi, however there is researching showing that...” She continued.
No one cared, no one noticed subtle changes in her explanation the second time around, her words feeling the gray space between them. Why are they so gray? Why am I white? Capricious.
