The Starship "FKA Slaughterer", a hybrid Federation/Klingon Warp-Fighter
Carrier keeping station near "Deep Space 9", the Federation Outpost in the
Denoris Asteroid Belt in the Bajoran Solar System.
[CROSSFADE TO]
THe office of the Station Commander, where Commander Kira Neyris is seated
behind her desk, and across the desk in front of her, also seated is Captain
M'Ress, the Caitian Commander of the WArp-Fighter Carrier FKA Slaughterer.
She and Kira are discussing the latest upcoming assignment of Captan M'Ress's
present command.
[POV - Commander Neryis]

Now that this all-out war with the Dominion is over, there is a need to follow
up with long-range patrols and exploration of the Gamma Quadrant. The Dominion
has politically collapsed and what was their teritory is in total chaos and
revolt. THe Federation has re-established contact with the 20 colonies that were
established before the Dominion declared war on the entire Alpha Quadrant.
Besides providing security to these colonies, you are to explore and perform
first contact with as many of the intelligent species in the Gamma Quadrant as
you are able to.

The aftermath of war is always a mess. Before myself and Commander Arex got
stuck in that Temporal Causality Loop 90 years ago, we were "cleaning up a
mess" caused by a war by proxy on the planet "Neural", where the Federation
and our then enemy, the Klingon Empire were arming both sides of a planetwide
military conflict between two political/military forces that left that planet
a radioactive wasteland.

Unfortunately Captain, you and your crew have been chosen to first drop off
supplies to the Colonies on the other side of the Bajoran Wormhole and then
"explore" and report back on what is going on in the Gamma Quadrant, now that
the Dominion has politically collapsed.

Behind Captain M'Ress, the doors to the Station Commander's Office slide open
and the FKA Slaughterer's Chief Weapons Officer, Lt. Cmdr. G'Tyrr'Y'Rgg and
Chief Engineer Karath enter. Karath is an "elderly" Klingon, who is less a "warrior",
and more of a Tech GUru. He is in charge of keeping the FKA Slaughterer's many
technical and combat systems up and running. Lt. Cmdr. G'Tyrr'Y'Rgg is an older
Caitian male. He was born with both Autism and Cerebral Palsy. He himself is wearing
a special neural-implant controlled exo-skeleton. His body fur is mostly white and
silver-grey. Except for his exo-skeleton, he wears nothing else, but a carry-all
belt with pouches, and a diaper and plastic pants.

We are on-scshedule, and I am having DS-9 Engineering Chief, Lt. Cmdr. O'Brien "fill"
my order of 1,000 "old-fashioned" fully-automatic projectile firearms, which may be
useful, if we encounter the Borg in the Gamma Quadrant on the other side of the Bajoran
Wormhole.

I have read the report from Captain Picard's latest engagement with the Borg, who tried
to alter the historical timeline in the 21st Century. He noted that although the Borg
Drones have individual deflector shields, they are ineffictive against old-fashioned "Full
Metal Jacket" projectile weapons. Therefore, I made a requisition for 1,000 Terran 20th
Century AK-47 Assault Rifles, plus 1,000 Colt Model 1911 0.45 caliber Automatic Pistols,
and 200 German MG-42 Light Machine Guns.

THe Promenade deck of Deep Space 9, just outside of "Quark's PLace". There are many
diffferent Terrans, Klingons, Caitians, Tellarites, Andorians, and other aliens
passing by. One very large alien, Gunnery Sergent Areth, a Huqq is outside the front
doors to Quark's Place, holding a 3.88 Liter tankard of Synthehol. Standing next to
him is Systems Engineer 1st Class, Nog, who is a Ferengi. Areth, who is a Huqq is a
Centauroid species, with an equine lower body, and a Felinoid Humanoid upper body.
She is covered in chestnut brown fur on her lower body, and blue-white fur covering
her upper body. Sergent Areth reports directly to Lt. Cmdr. G'Tyrr'Y'Rgg. In combat,
she leads the Slaughterer's combined species planetary assault ground forces Batallion.

I wonder if I could have a pair of 0.50 caliber Browning Machine Guns in a saddle mount for me?
That would pack one hell of a wallop if we encounter the Borg in the Gamma Quadrant.

I do have to stop into the Medical Office for a scheduled appointment with Dr. Bashir.
Just a routine checkup of my bionic leg before we ship out into the Gamma Quadrant.

Content: Coming up to the doorway of "Quark's Place" is none other than Quark himself. He does not look too happy.
Quark:
Well, Nog, when did you get back?
[a pause]
And who is your friend?
She is taking up too much space in the doorway!
Nog:
Good Evening Uncle.
How is business?
Quark:
At least with the war over, I am making lots of profit.
Sergent Areth:
[looking down at Quark]
Oops! I will get my hind-quarters out of the doorway.
Sergent Areth clops forward 4 steps out into the Promenade.
{I will note, that the Centauroid species, the H'qq are 100% incontinent. While around other sentient species, they wear a plastic-lined leather "Equine Diaper" to catch and contain their bodily wastes until they can empty it in private.}

I know, we H'qq make great doors.
[giggles]
Nog:
The SLAUGHTERER is not staying very long. Anyway, I have to see Dr. Bashir.
Nog walks off down the Promenade towards Dr. Basir's Medical Office, leaving his Uncle Quark and Sergent Areth together. Compared to Sergent Areth, Quark is tiny. Quark looks up at Sergent Areth's "diaper". He then gags and bends-over.
