The Baby Treatment (Part 2)
After she diapered me, she pulled me up and asked "Is my wittle baby hungry after all the excitement?" and she led me into the kitchen. To my surprise, there was a highchair waiting for me!
She hoisted me up and strapped me in. "Ok, there are some rules you need to follow now: (She read the list aloud)
Rule #1: Use your diaper.
Rule #2: I will feed you.
Rule #3: You must take a nap with your teddy every afternoon.
Rule #4: You are only permitted to use the following words, in a group of 3 or less. Mommy, hungwy, poopy, pee-pee, potty, ba-ba, me, teddy, want, go, yes,no.
You will be treated this way for one month? Got it?"
I tried to answer, but she shoved a spoonful of baby food in my mouth and I could not reply. My life as a toddler had begun.
After eating, my mommy put me in the playpen and started to read a magazine. A half-hour later, I had to poop. I began to squirm to hold it in. Then mommy walked into the room.
