Content: This is my first story, so feel free to comment. Let me know what you think.
It was Monday morning and I just arrived at work. I visited the rest room and changed my pad. The pad was not very wet, but I decided to start the day with a fresh one. I had a couple of meetings and did not want to get caught short. Went to the first meeting, which was about the new system we were putting in. Bill the long-winded manager was in the meeting and he droned on for about half and hour about the parameters for the new system. I would not have minded but we had been through this before.
The meeting finally ended about an hour after the meeting started and I headed to the restroom. Fortunately I had a pad in my suit coat pocket and changed my pad. Glad I got to the restroom and this pad was saturated. As I left the restroom I ran into my supervisor Joan leaving the women's room. Joan commented that she was happy the meeting finally got over. I agreed without saying anything else. Joan asked if I could come to her office and I followed her.
Joan told me that she had been asked to visit Chicago to view a presentation on a software product and wanted me go accompany her. I tried to beg off as I stated that I had a lot on my plate now and wanted to concentrate on my assignments.
The real reason was I was concerned about wearing protection during the suggested trip. The flight to Chicago would take half a day and on plane change. It would be one thing if I went alone, but being accompanied by Joan concerned me.

Content: AWH2,
Whatever the merits of your story, the "chapters" are simply far too short. Use other posted stories here as guidelines. You are going to want something 1200-1800 words or thereabouts for a chapter. For contrast, your first (and longer) chapter contains 280 words. Spend more time with your scenario. Develop your characters. Don't publish every few lines. It's not fair either to the story or to the readers.
