Chapter by Chapter or Multi-Chapter Batches -- (Author) storywriter

Content: I was thinking about posting this as a question in the thread for the story I've been working on (here) but I decided it might be more generally applicable.

Here it is -- In my story, I'm working more than a few chapters ahead of what I've actually posted right now and I'm wondering how people prefer to get updates on stories?

1. In your ideal world, would you get one chapter at a time (for example, one per day or every other day or something)?

2. Or would you rather wait a week or two and get, say, 10 chapters all in a batch?

I, for one, can't promise to abide by the findings -- but I'm curious to hear "what's your pleasure?" (If a MOD would convert this to a proper poll, I'd appreciate it; I searched for a 'how to' thread but I couldn't find one and I couldn't figure it out myself... :dunno: )
