Content: I haven't written a story in ages. I'm working a new one and I'm trying to make it very unique. It's supposed to be a diaper story with a sci-fi twist. It details the 1000 year lifespan of a girl and her struggle with Gender Identity Disorder and Body Integrity Identity Disorder. Her journey to become the incontinent moderately mentally disabled princess she was meant to be century by century in a series of diary entries. Each century encompasses an arc in the greater story and each "chapter" will be that days diary entry. Without further ado I present the prologue to my new story in progress.
The Millennium Princess
Prologue:
July 17, 2991
Dear diary, I had the most exciting birthday party at my house in the underwater colony of Gliese 581c. I can hardly believe it myself, but I've done the unthinkable. I have reached the very ripe old age of one-thousand. Such a feat was unthinkable when I was born a millennium ago. Every decade, every century I have existed ran through my mind as I blew out the candles on my cake.
So much has changed over my lifetime. I have seen and done things thought impossible within the average human lifespan. I am no longer a fully biological human. I have transcended the boundary between man and machine. I have seen our civilization accomplish wondrous feats. I lived to see men land on Mars. I witnessed the construction of the first orbital space elevator. And much, much more!
Looking back, I'm glad I didn't accept the notion that eighty or a hundred years of life was enough. The thought of all the exciting things I would miss out on had I accepted the same fate that many biological humans accepted a millennium ago distressed me to no end. I pressed on in the face of a world that thought my wishes were impossible. Here I am, celebrating my achievement of the impossible. I am Sophie Paraluna, or my humanoid name, Protos Heis, and I am the millennium princess.
More adventures await me into the future. I leave for Andromeda tomorrow. I'm so excited!
